Head to Bloodblight Swamp and make your way to the castle at the region’s southernmost point. The community-maintained region page refers to it as the Unnamed Castle. The Bloodwood tree is inside the castle, rather than out in the surrounding swamp. A Dragon Slayer quest guide and the Bloodblight Swamp region page identify this location.
What do you need to harvest Bloodwood Sap?
Bring an Iron Logging Axe. Quest walkthroughs and a woodcutting guide list Iron as the required minimum for cutting the Bloodwood tree. The woodcutting guide also lists the axe requirement.

Garou have been reported near the tree, so expect possible hostile encounters while approaching or harvesting.
