For a quick game of dice in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, check taverns and use the dice icon on the map or compass to locate nearby tables. GamesRadar highlights four early-game stops—Troskowitz, Tachov, Semine, and Zhelejov Wagoners’ Inn. Gamer Guides’ interactive map lists 21 table locations across Trosky and Kuttenberg: eight in Trosky and 13 in Kuttenberg. That is the database’s count, not an official statistic from the developers.
Quick early-game places to play
GamesRadar identifies these four places as useful early-game stops: Troskowitz, Tachov, Semine, and Zhelejov Wagoners’ Inn. Tables are marked with a dice icon on the map; when one is nearby, the icon also appears on the compass. A tavern is a practical first place to check, but an opponent’s presence is not guaranteed at every visit.

Use the linked interactive map rather than inferring a settlement from a nearby landmark label: one pin’s displayed landmark is “Common ladies shoes,” which does not establish a settlement name.

How to play without losing a turn’s points
Dice is a turn-based risk decision. You begin a turn with six dice, keep scoring dice, then choose whether to bank the turn’s points or roll the remaining dice. If a roll has no scoring combination, the turn ends and its unbanked points are lost. The target score is shown in the game interface, so follow the target for that match rather than assuming one universal target.
Scoring examples
GamesRadar reports the following scoring examples:
- A single 1 scores 100 points; a single 5 scores 50.
- Three of a kind scores 100 times the face value, except three 1s, which score 1,000.
- Each additional matching die doubles the corresponding three-of-a-kind score.
- A straight from 1–5 scores 500; 2–6 scores 750; and 1–6 scores 1,500.
Those values are the guide’s reported scoring table; check the game’s displayed score as you play. The practical choice is whether the possible gain from rerolling is worth risking the points already accumulated in the turn.

Special dice and token games
Dice you own can be selected before a game and may change the odds. The locations below are examples from Gamer Guides, not a complete route to every special die.
| Die | Listed location and access | Reported description |
|---|---|---|
| Odd die | Medium-difficulty locked chest in a private area on a tavern ground floor at (14031, 13748); another in a hard-to-pick chest on an inn’s top floor at (13968, 11863). | “A die loaded to favour odd numbers. Most of the time.” |
| Painted die | Hard-to-pick chest in the back room of the tailors at (17318, 11607). | A die colored using modern techniques that hide an attempt to load it. |
GamePressure says dice can also be bought from traders, while tokens can be found through exploration or purchased. Token games apply a modifier. Tin, silver, and gold tokens have different modifier strengths, and the guide says you must use the same token level as your opponent. Its guide was last updated 6 February 2025.

Choosing a table
For a straightforward game, start with an accessible tavern or a nearby dice marker. If you are looking for a particular opponent, use the map notes but account for conditional appearances such as Dancer’s. Check whether reaching the table involves trespassing. The listed locations do not provide comparable wager amounts for all 21 pins, so they do not support ranking tables by likely profit.
