For Tian Wen’s quest The Major’s Footlocker, search the box on a desk in the rear room of Ruby Residence on Dam Battlegrounds, northwest of the Dam. Searching the box makes Major Aiva’s Mementos appear as a separate pickup: collect them, extract with them, then deliver them to Tian Wen.

Find the mementos at Ruby Residence
- Deploy to Dam Battlegrounds and head to Ruby Residence, northwest of the Dam. Quest listings describe the area more generally as apartments northwest of The Dam; the detailed route names Ruby Residence. PC Gamer’s quest guide
- Enter the western apartment block and follow the in-game objective marker to a rear room with a desk. A detailed guide identifies the target as a box on the desk; a precise floor number is not established, so use the marker rather than guessing. Detailed walkthrough
- Search the box. Then look for Major Aiva’s Mementos and interact with the item separately—the search itself does not count as picking them up.
If the pickup interaction fails
The walkthrough suggests stepping onto the table or desk and trying the pickup again. This is a guide-reported workaround, not a confirmed universal fix.
Extract and deliver the item
Carry the mementos to an extraction point and leave the raid with them, then deliver them to Tian Wen. Quest listings and PC Gamer describe the extract-and-deliver objective. The detailed walkthrough says both objectives must be completed in one round and recommends placing the item in a safe pocket after pickup; those specific instructions are reported by that walkthrough.
