The six named Dragon Hunt encounters are in Vanaheim’s Crater: The Crimson Dread is in The Plains; The Corpse Eater and Slag Horn are in The Jungle; and Crag Jaw and The Ash Tyrant are in The Sinkholes. A separate hidden dragon, The Everlasting, is at Dragon Beach in Svartalfheim. To awaken it, equip the Mystical Heirloom relic and activate the large dragon statue.

Finding the dragons in Vanaheim’s Crater
The Crater is not a single dragon arena: its hunts are spread across The Plains, The Jungle, and The Sinkholes. The route opens progressively, so some encounters require returning after changing access to the area.

The Plains: The Crimson Dread
From the Crater entrance, take the northern route to reach the “For Vanaheim!” hunt. The GameFAQs contributor walkthrough places The Crimson Dread in The Plains. See the walkthrough.
The Jungle: The Corpse Eater and Slag Horn
The Jungle route becomes available after “Scent of Survival,” and the guide’s route requires nighttime. Restoring the river opens more of the region and supports exploration of The Plains and The Sinkholes. For The Corpse Eater, restore the river and clear the Ogres near the Jungle entrance; this enables the pursuit to its lair.

Slag Horn is tied to “Path of Destruction.” The route uses a caged Gulon to draw the dragon out of hiding. These are separate hunts, even though both take place in The Jungle. PowerPyx lists both routes.
The Sinkholes: Crag Jaw and The Ash Tyrant
Follow “Quaking Hollow” through The Sinkholes to find Crag Jaw. The Ash Tyrant is east of the Sinkholes Entrance Mystic Gateway; destroy the pillars it perches on and continue the pursuit to its lair. PowerPyx’s Dragon Hunt walkthrough.

The hidden dragon at Dragon Beach
The Everlasting is a separate, optional encounter in Svartalfheim, not one of the Vanaheim Crater hunts. At Dragon Beach, equip the Mystical Heirloom relic and activate the large dragon statue to awaken the boss. PowerPyx’s location guide.
What counts as a dragon in Ragnarök?
The locations above cover the six named Dragon Hunt bosses in the Crater and The Everlasting. Drekis are dragon-like creatures, but walkthroughs classify them in separate hunts; they are not included in the named-dragon list here. Why complete the dragon hunts?
