Crawmerax the Invincible is inside Crawmerax’s Lair, in Parched Fathoms, an area reached from Deep Fathoms in Borderlands: The Secret Armory of General Knoxx. In Deep Fathoms, head for the southwest highway ramp near the red energy bridge and look for the “SECRET FINAL BOSS” sign.
Where to find Crawmerax
Crawmerax is in Crawmerax’s Lair, which connects to Deep Fathoms and is part of The Secret Armory of General Knoxx DLC. The lair is in Parched Fathoms. Borderlands Wiki’s area reference identifies the location and its mission association.

How to reach Crawmerax’s Lair
- Travel to Deep Fathoms in The Secret Armory of General Knoxx DLC.
- Go to the southwest section and find the highway ramp beside the red energy bridge. The “SECRET FINAL BOSS” road sign marks the approach.
- Follow the route toward the opening in the rocks and enter the lair. A walkthrough describes a transition appearing as you approach; inside, continue to the lift and activate its control panel. See the route details in the SENIORBILL walkthrough.
If the entrance is unavailable
Access is associated with the optional mission “You. Will. Die.” A GameFAQs answer says the mission follows defeating General Knoxx and looting the armory for the first time. Check your mission progression if the route is not accessible. GameFAQs: “Where can I find Crawmerax the Invincible?”

If your installed DLC or mission board does not match the route above, confirm that The Secret Armory of General Knoxx is installed and check your in-game mission progression.
