Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria is north of Nightmare Neighborhood in Fortnite. Look for the large rooftop sign, enter the restaurant, defeat Freddy or Foxy, then hold the on-screen prompt to possess the animatronic you defeated. You stay in that character until the match ends, but possession does not grant special abilities.
Where to find Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria
Travel north of Nightmare Neighborhood and look for the building marked by a large “Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria” sign. The sign is the clearest landmark for identifying the restaurant.
How to defeat and possess Freddy or Foxy
- Enter the pizzeria. Freddy and Foxy pursue and attack players inside.
- Keep moving and create distance while fighting. The animatronics attack with pickaxes, so sprinting away can help you avoid their hits.
- Continue attacking until one animatronic’s health is depleted.
- When the on-screen prompt appears, hold the displayed button to possess the defeated animatronic.
You remain in the possessed character until the match ends. The guide describes no special ability or competitive advantage from possession; it is a way to play as the character during the match.
Freddy or Foxy: which should you possess?
Both are described as hostile pizzeria NPCs that attack with pickaxes. No different possession abilities or gameplay effects are reported, so choose based on which character you would rather play as.

How long is the pizzeria available?
An Esports.gg guide published October 1, 2026, identifies the pizzeria as Fortnitemares 2026 content and says it will remain until the event concludes. It does not give an exact end date. If you are looking for it after Fortnitemares, check Fortnite’s current in-game map because seasonal content can change.
Are the FNaF skins required?
No skin or other purchase is needed to visit the POI, fight the animatronics, or possess one. The Esports.gg guide reported that FNaF skins were in the Item Shop when it was published, but that wording does not confirm current availability or provide prices.
