Mission 7, “Lock, Stock and Barrels,” in Sniper Elite: Resistance has three weapon workbenches: Rifle, SMG/Secondary and Pistol. The Rifle bench is upstairs in a house beside a water wheel in the southwest, the SMG/Secondary bench is upstairs in a barn on the east side, and the Pistol bench is upstairs in the entrance building of the V2 testing site in the northwest. These directions are the same across the mission-specific and broader workbench guides consulted for this article. You will need the game itself to follow them.

Finding each workbench
Rifle Workbench
Head to the southwestern corner of the map, where a river runs past a house with a water wheel. The workbench is on the second floor, so you need to get up there first.
- Walk to the house beside the water wheel in the southwest.
- Climb the overgrown vines to reach the second floor.
- Enter the room on that floor, where the Rifle Workbench is.
Prima Games links this bench to Rifle Muzzle Upgrades. The other guides consulted do not name a reward for it.
SMG/Secondary Workbench
This bench sits in the barn on the eastern side of the map. GameSpot calls it the SMG Workbench, while Prima Games files it under the Secondary category. Both report the same reward, the Secondary Recoil Pack.

- Climb to the second floor, where the workbench is located.
Pistol Workbench
The Pistol Workbench is at the V2 testing site in the northwest. Guides describe it in slightly different terms. PowerPyx places it in the room above the entrance to a bunker tied to a secondary objective. Push Square gives the more direct route: use the green ladder, go upstairs and enter the door on the left.
- Go to the V2 testing site in the northwest.
- Find the building by the main entrance.
- Use the green ladder to reach the upper floor.
- Enter the door on the left to reach the workbench.
What workbenches unlock
Workbenches are collectibles that unlock weapon attachments or upgrades. Each mission bench gives you a specific reward, as listed above. Push Square also reports that collecting all workbenches across the game unlocks the Innovator trophy.

Why guides disagree on the total number of workbenches
This mission’s count of three benches is consistent across every guide consulted. The game-wide total is less settled. Push Square’s 2026 guide reports 22 workbenches across the game and includes a separate DLC mission, Vercors Vendetta. The 2025 full-game video guide by Maka91Productions describes 21. The sources do not explain the gap. It could reflect differences in what each guide counts, whether the DLC is included, or a later game update. Until a single current figure is confirmed against the game’s own in-game collectible tracking, treat any total as provisional and check which version and DLC scope a guide covers.

These locations come from community and press guides, not an official developer map, and none were checked against a specific platform, difficulty level, patch or DLC configuration. If a landmark does not match what you see, use the building types as your guide (the water-wheel house, the eastern barn, the green ladder at the V2 site) and search the upper floor of each building.
