In Fortnite’s GALACTIC BATTLE season (Chapter 6 Season 3), the most reliably reported Imperial TIE Fighter was a broken craft at a road fork south of Flooded Frogs and northwest of Magic Mosses. You could repair and fly it after completing a short sequence: activate a nearby terminal, collect three fuel caches, then hold the repair prompt. That season ran in May and June 2025, so these routes describe a past map state, not what you will find on the island today.
Where the repairable TIE Fighter was
Insider Gaming’s launch-day guide (May 2, 2025) gave the clearest route to the TIE Fighter, and Destructoid’s guide (May 5, 2025) independently described the same craft south of Flooded Frogs. Neither was an official Epic spawn table, so treat the route as the best-documented location from contemporary coverage rather than a published game rule.
Repairing and boarding the TIE Fighter
- Land at the road fork south of Flooded Frogs and northwest of Magic Mosses.
- Find and investigate the nearby terminal to trigger the mini quest.
- Collect the three fuel caches nearby. Each is marked with a white diamond and exclamation indicator.
- Return to the broken TIE Fighter and hold the on-screen repair prompt.
- Board the fighter and take off. Insider Gaming warned that other players may contest the site, so clear nearby enemies before you complete the repair.
Other reported appearances
Outside the repair quest, the fighter did not have a guaranteed spawn in the guides’ accounts. Both guides described variable appearances, and the two sources differ on one location.
First Order Base and nearby snowy terrain
Insider Gaming reported that TIE Fighters could appear at random around the First Order Base and the snowy areas nearby. It did not guarantee a spawn at either place. Destructoid also reported variable appearances here, so this is the most consistent part of the coverage, though still unpredictable.

| Location | Reported behaviour | Source(s) | Strength of evidence |
|---|---|---|---|
| Road fork south of Flooded Frogs (repair quest) | Broken craft, repairable after the terminal and three fuel caches | Insider Gaming (May 2, 2025); Destructoid (May 5, 2025) | Strongest: described as a repair route by both guides |
| East end of Vader’s Samurai Solitude | Fixed fighter, per Destructoid | Destructoid (May 5, 2025) only | Weaker: not confirmed by Insider Gaming |
| First Order Base and nearby snowy areas | Random appearances, no guaranteed spawn | Insider Gaming (May 2, 2025); Destructoid (May 5, 2025) | Consistent across both guides, but unpredictable |
| Crime City | Random appearances | Destructoid (May 5, 2025) only | Weaker: single source, not in Insider Gaming’s guide |
Season dates and availability
Epic’s official GALACTIC BATTLE announcement set the Battle Pass window as May 2 through June 7, 2025, Eastern Time, with the finale on June 7. The Star Wars collaboration itself was announced by Epic on April 29, 2025. Because the season has ended, the coverage does not establish whether the TIE Fighter or its repair quest is available in current Battle Royale. If you are playing now and cannot find the craft, the sources do not show that it is still in the game.
Vehicle description and Creative-mode documentation
Epic’s season announcement describes the Imperial TIE Fighter as a single-passenger craft with high-powered blasters. Epic’s separate Creator documentation covers a TIE Fighter spawner that creates a pilotable vehicle on a creator’s island, and states that all Star Wars vehicles are single-seat. That documentation explains how the vehicle works in Creative, but it does not show where a vehicle spawned in Battle Royale, so do not use it to locate the craft on the main island.
