The clearest single-location lead is the Edge of Acheron outpost in Sheol: a June 2025 guide points to a chest on a table inside the main building. For a Hagga Basin farming loop, check chests at The Beast’s Claw, Passage of Artemis, and The Aegis. These locations come from third-party guides, so loot placements and vendor stock may have changed since publication.
What Military Power Regulators are used for
Military Power Regulators are crafting components for vehicle power units. The community wiki lists them in recipes for several vehicle generators and an Advanced Survival Fabricator recipe; gaming.tools also classifies the item as a vehicle power-unit component. The community wiki’s item entry reproduces the in-game description, while gaming.tools’ item database lists the component and says its item data is version 1.5.3.3, last updated September 24, 2026.

Best single location: Edge of Acheron in Sheol
A Beebom guide published June 11, 2025 identifies Edge of Acheron as an outpost in Sheol, at the western corner of the map. It directs players to clear the outpost, enter its main building, and check the chest on a table; the chest may contain Military Power Regulators and Hydraulic Pistons. See Beebom’s location guide.
- Access and danger: The guide reports high-level AI enemies and enabled PvP at the outpost. It says the surrounding area is irradiated but the outpost itself is not, and recommends protective armor.
- Other possible finds: The guide also names downed ships as a lower-probability source and says Zoe at Crossroads Tradepost may occasionally sell the item.
Those hazards and loot details are guide-reported, not confirmed by a current official loot table. The guide does not give a drop rate or guarantee a regulator in the chest.

Hagga Basin chest route
If you want to farm without making the trip to Sheol, Method’s June 24, 2025 guide describes a three-stop route in Hagga Basin. It starts at The Beast’s Claw, west of Crossroads Tradepost in Mysa Tarill, then continues to Passage of Artemis and The Aegis. Read Method’s route guide for its location details.
- The Beast’s Claw: Check roughly three chests and a rare chest downstairs.
- Passage of Artemis: Loot the chests at this stronghold before moving on.
- The Aegis: Search the two towers for chests; the guide warns that enemies here are tough.
Method’s author reported finding around 125 Military Power Regulators and 60 Hydraulic Pistons on one trip. That is one guide author’s haul, not a guaranteed yield or a repeatable rate.

Other ways to obtain them
Downed ships and Deep Desert activities
The June 2025 guides list randomly falling or downed ships as another possible source. Method also names buried treasure and other PvE points of interest in the Deep Desert. Neither guide supplies a current drop rate, so treat these as opportunistic finds rather than a dependable farming plan.
Exchange and NPC vendors
Method says to check the Exchange in Arrakeen or Harko Village, as well as the Crossroads Tradepost vendor and vehicle vendors in Arrakeen or Harko Village. Its June 2025 guide reports a historical Exchange purchase at 200 Solari per piece and vendor prices of 3,500 Solari per piece. Beebom separately mentions possible availability from Zoe at Crossroads Tradepost. Stock, vendor locations, and prices may have changed; check in-game before planning around them.

The location guides were published in June 2025. Although the gaming.tools database has a later item-data update, that listing supports the item’s crafting role, not the current placement of loot or vendor prices. If you need an exact current location, stock, or cost, verify it in-game.
