The most useful shared starting point is Autumnal Avenue, in northern Lumiose City between the Magenta and Rouge sectors, where Destructoid reports finding all three. Gamer Guides also gives a separate spot for each species, listed below. Treat these as reported locations to check, not guaranteed spawns: wild encounters vary from one tree or rooftop to the next.
Quick answer by species
| Pokémon | Where to search | Reported by |
|---|---|---|
| Pansage | Trees around Wild Zone 6 | Gamer Guides |
| Pansear | Rooftops around Wild Zone 8 | Gamer Guides |
| Panpour | Trees on Autumnal Avenue, southwest of Wild Zone 3 | Gamer Guides |
| All three | Trees along Autumnal Avenue, northern Lumiose City between the Magenta and Rouge sectors | Destructoid, which says it found all three there |
Searching Autumnal Avenue
Autumnal Avenue is the one location that appears in both guides, which makes it the best first stop if you do not want to plan a route around each species. Destructoid says it found all three Pokémon among the avenue’s trees, and Gamer Guides places Panpour there specifically. Because encounters are not guaranteed at every tree, work along the avenue, check several trees, and move on if nothing appears after a reasonable sweep.
Where to find each Pokémon
Pansage
Gamer Guides points to the trees around Wild Zone 6. If that area is quiet, Autumnal Avenue is also worth checking, since Destructoid reported Pansage there alongside the other two.
Pansear
Gamer Guides places Pansear on the rooftops around Wild Zone 8. Destructoid also reports rooftop encounters in general and mentions a rooftop near Bleu Sector 7 where it found two of the three species. That article does not say which two, so do not treat that rooftop as a guaranteed Pansear location.

Panpour
Gamer Guides lists the trees on Autumnal Avenue, southwest of Wild Zone 3, as the Panpour location. This is the most specific route for Panpour, and it overlaps with the shared avenue route described above.
Catching them: trees are easier than rooftops
Destructoid recommends searching trees over rooftops. Pokémon perched in trees stay still when you approach, which makes it easier to line up and throw a Poké Ball. Rooftop Pokémon may run away once you get close, so approach them carefully or be ready to chase.
Rank #2
- Your journey will take you to all manner of sights in the streets arrayed around Prism Tower, including shops, restaurants, and places called wild zones—where Pokémon roam free.
- As you catch, train, and battle Pokémon, there will be plenty of people to meet too—like AZ, the enigmatic owner of Hotel Z.
Timing does not appear to matter. Destructoid reports that all three spawn during both day and night, so you do not need to wait for a particular time of day. The reporting does not give spawn percentages, respawn timing, or a way to force a specific species to appear, so expect to search a few trees or rooftops before one shows up.
Side Mission 18: “A Pan-tastic Pot of Tea”
This side mission is the reason many players look for all three Pokémon together. Gamer Guides says it becomes available after you complete the main mission “Reaching Rank V.” The quest giver, Servando, stands outside Cafe Cyclone, southeast of Wild Zone 2.

These locations come from editorial game guides, not from an official Nintendo or Pokémon source. Destructoid’s report is based on its own search of Autumnal Avenue, and Gamer Guides separates the three species into different areas. Neither source establishes whether these locations differ between game versions or updates, and neither gives encounter rates. If a spot is empty, the most reliable approach is to move to the next reported area and keep searching.
