- Warehouse: Check the two generators on the east side.
- Marano Station: Search the car hoods in the north parking area.
- Parking Garage: Check the cars on each level. A Bombardier may spawn on or near the garage, so account for that threat before spending time searching.
Vehicles and industrial machinery are the route’s useful targets; the guide does not establish a drop rate or a guaranteed number of gears per run.

PCGamesN describes an alternative route through the underground tunnels north of Checkpoint. Pass Reinforced Reception and continue east through the tunnels toward the extraction points. Search the cars and breachable containers along the way.

What containers are worth checking?
- Vehicles: Check compartments such as car hoods and bus compartments.
- Generators: Search generators in industrial settings, including the two singled out at Warehouse.
A follow-up test of a supposed bus hotspot found mixed results rather than a dependable Rusted Gear drop. That supports checking vehicle compartments as part of a broader search, not treating buses—or any single container—as guaranteed.
