How to get Sacramental Spirits
| Source | What you get | What to expect |
|---|---|---|
| Pilgrim’s Traverse sidequest | Eight Sacramental Spirits | A stated quest reward. The quest name appears as “???” in the returned text of Square Enix’s Patch 7.35 notes, so it cannot be identified by name here. |
| Accursed Hoard appraisal | Offerings may be obtained; the amount is not stated in Square Enix’s Pilgrim’s Traverse guide. | An occasional chance, not a guaranteed reward from each appraisal. |
The quest awards eight of each offering type: Sacramental Spirits, spices, grain, light, and lilies. That is 40 offerings in total across the five types.

What Sacramental Spirits are for
Sacramental Spirits are a Miscellany item with the description “Aged liquor found in Pilgrim’s Traverse.” They are one of the five offerings used for The Final Verse (Quantum), alongside sacramental spices, grain, light, and lilies.
Unlock and register for The Final Verse (Quantum)
- Clear stone 100 in Pilgrim’s Traverse and complete the sidequest that follows. Square Enix’s official guide lists these as the progression requirements for access.
- Gather the party in Il Mheg. The party leader speaks to Vanthau at X:29.9, Y:6.0 to register.
- As party leader, select between 15 and 40 offerings. The selection can affect boss behavior, statuses, and other factors; the Patch 7.35 notes do not specify a complete set of guaranteed effects for each selection.
- Open the reward coffer after the duty. The selected offerings are expended at that point.
Earlier Pilgrim’s Traverse progression
The route begins with “Pilgrimage of Light,” a level 91 quest from Fahrafahr in Urqopacha (X:32.1, Y:34.3). The Patch 7.35 notes list the Dawntrail main scenario and “Brains and Brawn” as prerequisites. “Faerie Tale” in Il Mheg requires “Pilgrimage of Light” and a clear through stone 30 of Pilgrim’s Traverse. These earlier steps establish part of the progression path, but they do not reveal the name of the later sidequest that awards the offerings.
