The five-location Season 1 list and boss-drop method were reported by a 2023 GameLud guide.
What to know before carrying one
Season 1 guides said that holding a Society Medallion revealed the holder’s approximate location to other players on the map. The item therefore came with a visibility trade-off: its benefit was paired with a clue opponents could use to track you. This mechanic is reported by a historical gameplay guide; it should not be taken as a statement about current item mechanics.
Do not confuse the Season 1 list with Season 2
Chapter 5 Season 2 used a different set of four medallion locations: Mount Olympus, Brawler’s Battleground, Grim Gate, and The Underworld. A 2024 Pro Game Guides article describes that season’s locations and effects. They are not additions to the five Season 1 locations.

Are these locations still available?
The location lists come from guides published in 2023 and 2024. They document the seasons they cover; they do not establish that Society Medallions or those boss encounters are available in the live game now. Check the current in-game map and season information if you are trying to find an item in a present-day match.
