Search the waters south, west, and east of the tower, and check nearby pink shells: some dewdrops are hidden inside them. You can also obtain a limited number from Pahsiv after completing The Wild Fairy of Erinnyes.
Where to look around the Tower of Ipsissimus
Travel to the Morte Region in Fontaine and dive near the Tower of Ipsissimus. The collection area is underwater around the tower, rather than at a single point. A Version 4.3 community route guide divides its search into three areas:
- South of the tower
- West of the tower
- East of the tower
Use those directions to sweep the surrounding waters. The guide is useful for orientation, but it dates to Version 4.3, so its exact point-by-point route should not be treated as a verified current map or a guaranteed total. HoYoWiki’s Morte Region entry identifies the area as part of Fontaine and lists Spring of the First Dewdrop among its local specialties.
Check pink shells for hidden dewdrops
Not every collection point presents an exposed item. Some dewdrops are inside pink shells, so inspect and open a shell when you reach a marked spot but do not see the material in the open. This is especially useful when following a route and a location seems empty.

Make the underwater search easier
A character talent that marks Fontaine Local Specialties on the mini-map can help you spot nearby items while farming. The route guide mentions Lyney as an example. This is a convenience, not a requirement; you can gather the material without that talent.
Get a limited supply from Pahsiv
After completing The Wild Fairy of Erinnyes, Pahsiv offers a one-time exchange of 15 Spring of the First Dewdrops for 2 Tidalga each. The stock does not restock, so this is a supplement to gathering rather than a repeatable source. The item reference lists the exchange and its quest requirement.

What Spring of the First Dewdrop is used for
The documented use for Spring of the First Dewdrop is ascending Navia. The item reference lists no recipes that use it. If you are collecting for Navia, combine the underwater route with Pahsiv’s finite exchange if you have access to it.
