Shrines were reported across the island, but the location list below is an archival guide to the season—not a map of current Fortnite spawns.
How to find and use a Sprite Shrine
- Look for a Sprite Shrine while exploring the Chapter 6 Season 1 island. Interact with it to reveal nearby Sprite locations.
- Go to a revealed Sprite and pick it up. Sprites roamed around the island rather than following a fixed route.
- Carry the Sprite to a shrine and return it to revitalize the shrine. The reward includes loot and a Boon.
Epic described Sprites as roaming the island and explained that bringing one to a forgotten shrine revitalized it and granted a Boon in its December 1, 2024 Chapter 6 Season 1 announcement. Polygon’s contemporaneous guide also describes activating shrines to reveal nearby Sprites and returning one for the reward.

Reported Sprite Shrine locations
The following are landmark directions, not exact coordinates. Game8’s location guide, updated January 7, 2025, describes these sites; consult its full pin map alongside the landmarks where available.
- Magic Mosses: Southwest of the area, east of its pond among trees.
- Nightshift Forest and Warrior’s Watch: South of both areas beside a road; another is east of Nightshift Forest near a road.
- Lost Lake: South of the lake near train tracks; on its east side near the crater; inside a building on its west side; and north of it in swampy ground.
- Twinkle Terrace: Southeast of the area on a hill, and northwest of it in a swamp.
- Whiffy Wharf and Flooded Frogs: Between the two areas near camping tents, and north of Flooded Frogs near shore.
- Seaport City: South of the city near train tracks between it and Foxy Floodgate; on a hill north of the city; and near a tunnel north of the city.
- Other landmarks: East of Brutal Boxcars near a small building and tunnel, and south of Demon’s Dojo near a geyser lake.
Polygon reported finding 17 shrines in its guide, updated December 2, 2024; that is the guide’s count, not an official Epic statistic. Its early report said it had not found shrines around Nightshift Forest and Hopeful Heights, while Game8’s later entries place shrines south of and east of Nightshift Forest. The sources therefore do not support treating Polygon’s early gaps as permanent exclusions.

What the three Sprite types do
Sprites can be picked up and used for their distinct effects, or carried to a shrine for the Boon reward.
- Air Sprite: Creates an updraft vortex that can launch players, enable glider redeploy, and affect builds or vehicles.
- Water Sprite: Creates a healing fountain.
- Earth Sprite: Consumes items offered to it in exchange for a reward.
What Boons a revitalized shrine grants
Epic listed four Boons in its season announcement. Boons are pickups that are consumed when collected, and Epic said they persist after elimination.

When these locations apply
These shrine directions are for Chapter 6 Season 1, titled “鬼 HUNTERS!” Epic’s launch announcement states that the season ended February 21, 2025, at 2 AM ET. The locations should not be read as a live-map update or a guarantee of current spawns.
