If “the Arc” means the giant ARC wreck on Pendola Pass, go to the named landmark Fallen Emperor. It is the large wreck associated with the map. If you mean ordinary ARC enemy machines for the Exploring Pendola Pass quest, any ARC type counts toward that quest’s 20-enemy objective, but no fixed, guaranteed spawn coordinate has been verified.
First, identify which “Arc” you need
The wording is confusing because ARC has two relevant meanings on Pendola Pass. Fallen Emperor is a major landmark and wreck, while ARC is also the name used for the hostile machines you fight during raids. Those are not the same location objective.

| What you mean | Where to look | What is confirmed |
|---|---|---|
| The giant ARC wreck | Fallen Emperor, a named point of interest on Pendola Pass | It is the large wreck associated with the map. |
| Regular ARC enemies | No single guaranteed spawn point is established | For Exploring Pendola Pass, any ARC type counts toward the 20-enemy requirement. |
Pendola Pass arrived with Embark Studios’ Frozen Trail 2.0 update on October 8, 2026. Because the map and its quest wording can change with later patches, compare the live objective in your game with the wording below if your interface differs.

Use the named landmark rather than a guessed coordinate
Open the Pendola Pass map and look for the label Fallen Emperor. That name is the reliable navigation reference for the wreck. The available location guides identify it as a named point of interest, but do not establish a latitude-and-longitude-style coordinate or a particular grid square that can be quoted safely. A guide that gives you an exact coordinate should be treated cautiously unless it matches your current map version.

Orient yourself with nearby named areas
Several other Pendola Pass labels can help you recognize your position while moving toward the landmark: Old Town, Piazza della Rupe, Railyard, Railroad Junction, and the Observatory. They are useful orientation points, not confirmed substitutes for Fallen Emperor. The sources available for this map do not establish a precise route, travel time, entrance, or guaranteed extraction point between those areas.
Confirm that you reached the wreck
- Select Pendola Pass from the map and use the on-map Fallen Emperor label as your destination.
- As you approach, verify the landmark name in the map or location display rather than assuming that any large mechanical debris is the target.
- If you are completing a quest, check the objective text separately. Reaching the wreck and defeating an ARC enemy are different kinds of progress.
This is the safest answer to “where is the Arc?” when the question refers to the spectacular wreck: Fallen Emperor on Pendola Pass. It does not mean that every ordinary ARC enemy appears there.
Finding ordinary ARC enemies for Exploring Pendola Pass
What the quest actually requires
The Exploring Pendola Pass walkthrough specifies a combat objective involving 20 ARC enemies. It says that any ARC type counts. You therefore do not need to find one special model, and you should not interpret “the Arc” in the quest as a request to visit only Fallen Emperor.

Keep the combat objective separate from the other tasks
The same walkthrough treats the ARC-kill requirement as separate from objectives involving the Observatory, the Railyard antenna, and the Commissary Supermarket. Visiting one of those places does not, by itself, satisfy the 20-enemy requirement. Conversely, defeating ARC machines does not automatically complete the location tasks unless the game marks those tasks separately.
A practical way to work toward the counter
- Before deploying, read the live Exploring Pendola Pass objective and confirm that the counter still shows 20 ARC enemies.
- During the raid, engage ARC machines wherever you encounter them on Pendola Pass. The quest guidance says the enemy type is flexible, so do not abandon a valid target while searching for a particular variant.
- After each fight, check the quest tracker or objective screen to make sure the count increased. If it did not, confirm that the defeated machine was an ARC and that you are on the correct quest.
- Continue until the tracker records all 20, then complete any remaining Observatory, Railyard antenna, or Commissary Supermarket tasks shown by your current objective list.
- Extract or otherwise finish the raid according to the game’s normal quest-completion rules. A kill counter reaching 20 is not proof that every separate exploration task is complete.
The key limitation is that the available guidance does not name a guaranteed ordinary-ARC spawn point. It supports a flexible hunting approach, not a single “go here every raid” answer.
Is Fallen Emperor a guaranteed ARC enemy spawn?
No verified source establishes Fallen Emperor as a guaranteed spawn location for regular ARC enemies. The landmark is confirmed as the giant wreck, but that does not prove that an ordinary enemy will always be present there, that a particular model will spawn there, or that the wreck is required for the quest counter.

Spawn patterns may also be affected by the raid, current game version, or later balance changes. Unless your live map or objective explicitly identifies a target at Fallen Emperor, treat it as a landmark to investigate rather than a guaranteed combat farm.

Why a fixed “best ARC route” can become outdated
Embark’s October 8, 2026 update notes explain that loot values in certain areas can vary from raid to raid while the inherent loot type remains the same. The stated intent is to make routes less predictable and scavenging more dynamic. That warning applies to route advice around Pendola Pass: a path that produced valuable items or convenient encounters in one raid is not established as permanently superior.
Use named areas for orientation, but judge the current raid by what your map, objective tracker, and surroundings actually show. Do not assume that Fallen Emperor, the Railyard, Old Town, or another named area always contains the best loot or the same enemy activity.

Common mistakes and how to correct them
Mistake: treating “the Arc” as one universal marker
Correction: Decide whether you need the Fallen Emperor wreck or 20 ordinary ARC kills. The first is a landmark question; the second is a quest-combat question.
Mistake: searching only for one enemy model
Correction: The Exploring Pendola Pass guidance says any ARC type counts. Read the counter after a fight instead of filtering targets by appearance.

Mistake: expecting every location task to progress from combat
Correction: Check the separate objectives for the Observatory, Railyard antenna, and Commissary Supermarket. The walkthrough presents these as distinct from the 20-enemy requirement.
Mistake: relying on an old route after an update
Correction: Read the current in-game objective and map labels. Quest walkthroughs and map guides can become stale after patches, while loot values are intentionally variable between raids.
Quick reference for your next Pendola Pass raid
| If your goal is… | Do this | Do not assume… |
|---|---|---|
| See the giant ARC wreck | Navigate to the named Fallen Emperor landmark. | That the wreck is a guaranteed enemy spawn. |
| Complete the ARC portion of Exploring Pendola Pass | Defeat any ARC types until the tracker records 20. | That one specific ARC model is required. |
| Complete the whole exploration quest | Track the ARC counter and the separate Observatory, Railyard antenna, and Commissary Supermarket tasks. | That one completed objective completes the others. |
| Plan a loot run | Use named areas for orientation and evaluate the current raid. | That any route always has the best loot. |
Bottom line
For the giant ARC wreck, go to Fallen Emperor on Pendola Pass. For the Exploring Pendola Pass combat objective, defeat any ARC enemies until you reach 20; no single guaranteed ordinary-ARC spawn coordinate has been verified. Keep those two meanings separate, and use the live quest tracker because map and loot behavior can change between raids and patches.
