The Castle Grounds Hut Key is in Casterfell Woods, on a Druid’s corpse near the edge of an infected area. One route starts from Datlow Hall and ends at a right-hand alcove; another guide describes a small cave beyond an infected pond. Use the corpse and infected-zone boundary as your main cues.
How to reach the key
Route from Datlow Hall
- Use Datlow Hall as your starting landmark.
- Pass through the narrow gap by the garage and damaged vehicle, then head uphill into the infected area.
- Check the alcove on your right for a Druid’s corpse holding the key. The Filibuster Blog recommends bringing Painkillers or Strange Tonic for the hazardous approach; this is guide advice, not a verified requirement. Filibuster Blog’s walkthrough
Alternate landmark: the infected pond
Gamer Guides places the body in a small cave past an infected pond and lists the location in Casterfell Woods at X: 13204, Y: 15431. Those coordinates use that guide’s map system; its description is not directly reconciled with the Datlow Hall route. Where the key is used
Return to the Druid’s Camp. The Castle Grounds Hut is near the entrance to the Castle Ruins; the Filibuster Blog describes it as just left of the grand entrance. Use the key on the hut door. Filibuster Blog’s walkthrough and MapMaster’s listing identify the key’s use.
What is reported inside the hut
Filibuster Blog and NightlyGamingBinge both report a B.A.R.D. crate and a Training Stimulant in the hut. One guide mentions additional items, but the available guides do not establish a complete fixed loot list or specify the game version, so treat extra contents as uncertain.
