Photograph the egg there to register Day 6 of the Onsen Egg Promise Treasure Hunt. The Azure Cracked Egg is a separate furniture reward, not the target you need to photograph.
How to find and photograph the Day 6 egg
- Unlock the hunt. Complete the Winter Frost Season introduction, then speak with Naughty to activate the egg hunt, as described in Mobi.gg’s Heartopia egg guide.
- Open the Treasure Hunt activity. Select its navigation option if it is available to direct you toward the event area.
- Go to Onsen Mountain. Find the igloo or snow structure and climb its stairs. At the top, check the railing on the left for the egg; Nintendo Smash’s location guide and Mobi.gg both place the Day 6 egg on that railing.
- Take a picture. Use the in-game camera to photograph the egg so the hunt registers it.
Don’t confuse the egg with the Azure Cracked Egg reward
The egg on the railing is the Day 6 hunt target, collected by photographing it. The Azure Cracked Egg is a separate furniture decoration obtained from the Day 6 furniture bubble. Nintendo Smash places that bubble near the large sign east of the windmill. The Onsen egg hunt guide hosted by AlongWalker also describes the photographed target on top of the snow structure where Atara is located.
What the full hunt awards
The guides describe a 16-egg Winter Frost Season hunt. Mobi.gg says completing the set awards the Onsen Egg recipe. That is separate from the Azure Cracked Egg furniture bubble reward.
Is the event still available?
The cited guides describe the event and its locations, but they do not establish whether the seasonal event is accessible in the live game on October 8, 2026. Mobi.gg updated its guide on September 7, 2026; that update alone does not confirm current in-game availability.
