Look up and photograph the light-purple egg with the in-game camera to register it.
Where is the Day 5 egg in Heartopia?
Head to the ice-rink area in Onsen Mountain, also described in guides as the Winter Utopia area. Find Massimo’s pop-up cooking station near the rink and look up at its roof or awning: the Day 5 egg is perched there. The egg is lavender or light purple, which helps distinguish it from other hunt targets. Heartopia.life’s Onsen Mountain walkthrough, Gamezebo’s location guide, and Mobi.gg’s Winter Frost Season guide all place it on or above Massimo’s stand.
How to register the egg
- Go to Massimo’s cooking station by the Onsen Mountain ice rink.
- Adjust your view upward until the lavender egg on the roof or awning is in frame.
- Take a photo with the in-game camera. The photo registers the egg; simply finding or clicking it is not the reported collection method.
The guides agree on the rooftop location but do not establish a consistent route or exact movement controls for climbing up to it. You do not need to assume a particular jump path: first try framing the egg from the ground with the camera.
Is the Snowman furniture bubble in the same place?
No. Heartopia Tips lists the post-photo Snowman furniture bubble at the Arts District piano crossroads, separate from the Day 5 egg’s photo location at Onsen Mountain. Its daily egg and Snowman bubble guide distinguishes the two collectibles.

What if the egg hunt is not unlocked?
Mobi.gg says the activity follows Eric’s Winter Frost Season introductory missions, which include conversations with Massimo, Blanc, Azure, Atara, and Annie. The guide then directs players to speak with Naughty on Onsen Mountain and accept the quest. If you cannot start the hunt, check those steps in your quest flow. The available guides describe this as a seasonal activity, but they do not establish whether it is currently active for every player or server.
