Head to the ship’s control room or bridge and search the containers at the back, around and beneath the Arrakis hologram. Then return to the contract board at Griffon’s Reach to complete the contract.
How to reach the Holtzman Amplifier
- Go to the Wreck of the Alcyon in Hagga Basin. Prima Games places the wreck east of Griffon’s Reach; use your in-game objective marker if your route or interface differs from a guide. Prima Games’ location guide
- Work through the wreck toward the control room. The target area is the ship’s bridge-like room at the far end, with control panels and a desk displaying a hologram of Arrakis. PC Gamer’s location guide
- Search the containers at the back of the hologram room. Check the boxes and cases around and beneath the hologram area. Guides describe the container and exact position somewhat differently, so inspect the group rather than stopping at one specific box.
- Return to Griffon’s Reach. Deliver the amplifier at the contract board to finish Wrecking Crew.
Prepare for the wreck
The Alcyon is described as enemy-filled. PC Gamer advises bringing bandages, a strong weapon and sturdy armor; that is guide advice, not a required loadout. PC Gamer
What changed in the console release
Funcom’s official console release patch notes say: “Made Holtzman Amplifier easier to find in ‘Wrecking Crew’ contract.” The notes do not specify the exact marker or placement change, so follow the objective shown in your game and search the hologram room if older screenshots do not match.
