The missing helmet in ARC Raiders’ Keeping the Memory quest is in the wreckage at Formicai Hills, the southern part of Dam Battlegrounds. Search the small bush beside the large, derelict Baron Husk in the clearing, then carry the helmet to the nearby memorial pole and interact with it to place it. Guides describe all three objectives as achievable in one raid.
Where the wreckage is
Keeping the Memory is given by Celeste and takes place on Dam Battlegrounds. The objective area is labelled Wreckage on the in-game map and sits in the wooded southern section of Formicai Hills. Your confirmation that you are in the right place is the large derelict Baron Husk standing in the clearing. The helmet is not lying on open ground; it is concealed in a small bush beside that wreck.
Finding and returning the helmet
- Accept or activate Keeping the Memory from Celeste, then queue for Dam Battlegrounds.
- On the map, set your destination to the Wreckage marker in Formicai Hills, and head toward the large derelict Baron Husk in the clearing.
- Search the small bush beside the wreck. PC Gamer’s guide narrows it further: look for the shrub near the base of a tree on the north side of the machine, tucked between its two legs and next to the wires on the ground.
- Pick up the helmet and carry it to the memorial pole near the wreckage.
- Interact with the pole to place the helmet. This completes the return objective.
The three objectives
- Reach the wreckage in Formicai Hills.
- Search for and collect the helmet.
- Return the helmet to the memorial pole.
Guides list these as a sequence to complete within a single raid, so plan the route before you drop in rather than returning to the wreck in a later match.
If you cannot spot the helmet
- Check the tree, not just the wreck. Many players search the open clearing first. The bush is on the north side of the machine, near a tree, not in the middle of the open ground.
- Look at the ground between the legs. The wires on the ground are a useful landmark for the exact spot.
- Confirm the objective is active. If the Wreckage marker or the helmet prompt does not appear, check that Keeping the Memory is the active quest and that you are on Dam Battlegrounds, not another map.
Rewards reported by guides
Walkthroughs from Dexerto and All Things How report that the quest rewards 5 Simple Gun Parts, 5 Duct Tape, and 5 Magnets. These are the amounts reported in those guides at the time of writing; confirm them against your in-game reward screen before relying on them.

Extraction and quest progress
Guides do not agree on whether you must extract before the quest registers as complete. All Things How recommends extracting to preserve quest progress, while other walkthroughs say only to finish the objectives in one match. Because the behaviour may depend on the current build, the safest approach is to watch the live objective list after placing the helmet. If the return objective shows as complete and the quest updates, you can continue; if it does not, extract and check the quest again on your next visit to the hub.

PC Gamer’s guide gives the most precise description of the helmet’s position. In Rory Norris’s words: “To find the missing helmet, investigate the small shrub near the base of the tree on the north side, tucked between the two legs, next to the wires on the ground.”
