The Relic of Pororin is carried on top of a giant walking tree near Trembling Gorge, southwest of Iron Wood. You get the chance to take it only after Pororin Village has ejected you three times and you have found Arkin in Pororin Forest. Stay near Arkin’s cliff, wait for the tree to pass, jump onto it, climb to its head, and collect the relic. Return it to Arkin, and he opens the way into Pororin Village.
What you need before you go
- The trigger: Approach Pororin Village and let the Shai eject you three times. The quest only advances after the third entry fails.
- Arkin: Find and speak with Arkin in Pororin Forest. He is the quest-giver for the relic and the person you return it to.
- Area: The retrieval area is Trembling Gorge, southwest of Iron Wood. Some walkthroughs group this quest under the name Trembling Woods; both refer to the same objective.
Retrieving the relic step by step
- Follow Arkin to the retrieval area. He leads you to a spot near Trembling Gorge, southwest of Iron Wood, where he waits on a cliff.
- Do not rely on the quest marker to find the tree. The marker does not track the moving tree, so treat Arkin’s cliff as your search point and scan the surrounding ground.
- Wait for the tree to pass. The giant walking tree carries the relic on its head.
- Jump from the cliff onto the tree as it goes by. Land on its arm or shoulder. Game8’s walkthrough describes this as the intended approach.
- Climb to the head of the tree. The relic sits there; collect it.
- Return the relic to Arkin. Game8 and GameSpot both report that this grants access to Pororin Village.
If the tree does not appear
The tree’s timing is not published, so waiting may take a while. Game8 suggests a fallback: teleport away from the area, then come back and check again. This is a player-tested tip from the guide rather than a confirmed fix that works in every version, so if the tree still does not show up, keep searching around the cliff before trying it.
What the sources do and do not confirm
- Confirmed by the detailed walkthroughs: the three ejections, the moving giant tree, the cliff-side approach, and the return to Arkin for village access.
- Not established: exact map coordinates, a fixed patrol route for the tree, and any guaranteed spawn schedule. Expect to search rather than navigate directly to the relic.
- Conflicting account: one alternate source describes retrieving the relic from a shrine chest. It contradicts the more detailed walkthroughs and the in-game quest sequence, so do not treat it as the normal route.
Quest name and game version
The Crimson Desert Gaming Tools database lists this quest chain as Trembling Woods in the Pororin Forest Guardians faction, under version 2.0.0, last updated September 30, 2026. The game itself launched on March 19, 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Mac, according to a Pearl Abyss launch notice. If your objective names differ from the steps above, check which patch you are running, since later updates can change quest wording and sequencing.
