Random freezes, missing sound and display glitches usually trace back to one bad driver. Find and replace yours safely.Free scan · under a minuteBoth Timeworn Loboskin and Timeworn Br’aaxskin maps come from level-100 Dawntrail gathering nodes. Loboskin also has a spearfishing route in Yak T’el that requires Salvage, and Br’aaxskin has fishing and spearfishing routes across Yak T’el, Heritage Found, and Shaaloani. The locations below come from a community wiki’s acquisition listing, which was crawled recently, so check your in-game gathering and fishing logs if a later patch has changed where the maps appear.
Where to get Timeworn Loboskin Maps
The community wiki lists level-100 Dawntrail gathering nodes in Heritage Found, Shaaloani, and Yak T’el. The rows below are examples from that listing, not a complete route list.

|---|---|---|---|---|
| Botanist, lush vegetation | Heritage Found | Lush vegetation node | X:11, Y:17 | Level 100 node |

| Spearfishing | Western Iq Rrax Tsoly, Yak T’el | Fishing spot | Not stated | Salvage |
The wiki’s listing is the most detailed route source for Loboskin, so use it for the exact node positions. The official Lodestone item record confirms that the map exists and states that it is not available for purchase through that database entry. A player comment on the same page mentions Yak T’el spearfishing, but comments are not official confirmation, so treat the wiki listing as the route reference.
Where to get Timeworn Br’aaxskin Maps
Br’aaxskin maps have the widest spread of sources. They come from gathering nodes, from fishing, and from spearfishing, so the best route depends on which gatherer class you play.

Using the map and party size
The in-game item description for Br’aaxskin tells you to use Decipher to examine the map. The text reads: “This bottle holds a timeworn map classified as risk-reward grade 17 among treasure hunters.” The Loboskin item text reads “risk-reward grade 16” and also says to use Decipher.

- Access to all expansion content from Heavensward and Stormblood, unlocking additional jobs, areas, story quests and more ways to explore: flying, swimming and diving
- A flexible class system that allows players to switch freely between a variety of classes and jobs, including new additions red mage and samurai, and reach the new level cap of level 70
- All the hallmarks of the FINAL FANTASY franchise, including an engaging storyline, genre-leading graphics, and HD real time cut scenes.
- Robust gameplay features such as player-managed Free Companies, diverse party finder features to group up with other players with ease, and a variety of fun activities in the Gold Saucer area, all designed to accommodate a dynamic player community.
- Challenging trials, dungeons and raids for groups of up to 24, and exciting player-vs-player (PvP) content for groups of up to 72 players
The Br’aaxskin description recommends a level-100 full party of eight. This is guidance from the item text, not a confirmed lockout, so you are not shown as blocked from opening the map with a smaller group. Treat it as the intended group size rather than a rule to check against.
Patch history that affects these maps
- Patch 7.0: Square Enix introduced both map types.
- Patch 7.05: Square Enix announced that Br’aaxskin maps would have a chance to open a portal starting in this patch.
- Patch 7.3: Gargantuaskin maps and Vault Oneiron were added. Square Enix states that only Gargantuaskin maps grant entry to Vault Oneiron. Patch 7.3 also adjusted rewards for Loboskin and Br’aaxskin maps.
- Patch 7.4: Rewards were adjusted again, this time for Loboskin, Br’aaxskin, and Gargantuaskin maps.
Because reward tables changed across these patches, do not rely on older guides for what a map pays out. Check the current game data before planning a run around a specific reward.

Choosing a route
There is no single best source. Pick a route based on the gatherer class you already play, your current location, and whether you can reach the listed Dawntrail zones.
- Miner: Use the rocky outcrop or mineral deposit nodes in Eshceyaani Wilds, Shaaloani, or East Yyasulani, Heritage Found for Br’aaxskin, or the mineral deposit in Yak T’el for Loboskin.
- Botanist: Use the lush vegetation nodes listed for Heritage Found, Yak T’el, and Iq Rrax Tsoly.
- Fisher: Use the Snagging spots for Br’aaxskin, or the Salvage spearfishing spots for either map.
The sources do not establish comparative drop rates, so no route can be called faster or more reliable than another. If a listed node or fishing spot is not where the wiki shows it, check your in-game gathering and fishing logs, since a later patch may have changed availability.
