If you want to become a vampire in The Elder Scrolls Online, search for Bloodfiends in The Rift, Bangkorai, or Reaper’s March. ESO Support says they are known to spawn at night, usually around midnight in-game, but does not guarantee a spawn on a particular night or provide current exact coordinates. You can also get bitten by another player at the Vampire ritual site.
Where Bloodfiends spawn in ESO
Bloodfiends are the NPC vampires that can infect your character. ESO Support names three possible spawn provinces: The Rift, Bangkorai, and Reaper’s March. These zones are the practical places to search if you want to contract Vampirism from an NPC. ESO Support: How often do Bloodfiends spawn?
Support describes Bloodfiends as known to spawn only at night, usually around midnight in-game, in relation to moon phases. This is general timing guidance, not a guaranteed schedule: the support answer does not give exact coordinates or confirm that Bloodfiends will appear on a specific night.
What to do after a Bloodfiend bite
After being bitten by a Bloodfiend, go to the NPC associated with your alliance region to continue the Vampirism quest:

Other ways to become a vampire
Finding a Bloodfiend is not the only route. ESO Support describes two alternatives:

The player-bite and Crown Store options are listed by ESO Support. Choose based on whether you want to find an NPC yourself, can arrange help from another player, or prefer the Crown Store route.

“Vampires” can refer to more than the NPCs that infect players. For the practical question of where to get a bite, the relevant enemies are Bloodfiends; the locations above answer that specific question. A player asking about vampires more broadly may mean other vampire characters or enemies in the game world.
