Rainy Day Mercy and Rainy Day Mei were both event rewards from Overwatch 2’s Season 15 Perked Up event. Mercy was earned through weekly challenges, and Mei was offered through Twitch Drops. The event ran from February 18 to April 22, 2025, so neither original route is open to new players today. Official sources do not confirm whether either skin has returned since then.
How each skin was offered
The two skins used different channels, so it helps to treat them separately. Blizzard’s Season 15 announcement describes weekly challenges as the way to earn Rainy Day Mercy and Twitch Drops as the way to earn Rainy Day Mei. Rainy Day Mercy: weekly challenge reward
Mercy’s skin came from the event’s weekly challenges. This was a gameplay reward, so it depended on completing the challenges set for the event rather than on a purchase or a stream. The official sources checked do not list the individual weekly challenge requirements, so this article does not describe them.
Rainy Day Mei: Twitch Drops reward
Mei’s skin was offered through Twitch Drops, which are rewards earned by watching eligible Twitch streams during a campaign. The patch notes list it as part of the same Perked Up event. The official sources checked do not give separate campaign dates for the Mei drop, so the event window is the only verified timeline.

Can you still get them?
The original methods are no longer available. Both were tied to dates that have passed, and the official sources do not show a later shop listing, loot box appearance, or event rerun for either skin. That means you should not expect the Season 15 challenges or Twitch Drops to work as a way to claim them now.
A later return is still possible, but only Blizzard’s own announcements can confirm it. Before assuming either skin is available, check the following:
