In Burning Crusade Classic, train Portal: Shattrath from Iorioa in Shattrath City’s Terrace of Light, near the Exodar and Silvermoon portals. Her approximate coordinates are 58.7, 47.1. You need to be level 65 to learn the portal spell.
Where to find Iorioa
Go to the Terrace of Light in central Shattrath City and look for Iorioa, the Portal Trainer. She is near the portals to the Exodar and Silvermoon. The coordinates are approximately 58.7, 47.1. Wowhead’s Burning Crusade Classic Mage guide and Warcraft Tavern’s TBC Mage spell guide identify her as the central trainer.
Level requirements
- Portal: Shattrath: level 65.
- Teleport: Shattrath: level 60.
These requirements are listed in the Wowhead TBC guide and the Warcraft Tavern guide. The portal spell creates a portal for group members, according to the Wowhead spell record.
Alternate trainer in Scryer’s Tier
Mi’irku Farstep is another listed trainer, located in Scryer’s Tier at approximately 43.2, 93.0. Wowhead’s TBC guide reports that Neutral reputation with the Scryers is required to use this option. Iorioa is the straightforward choice if you want the central Terrace of Light trainer. Source: Wowhead’s Burning Crusade Classic Mage guide.

Which game version is this for?
The trainer locations and level requirements above are supported for Burning Crusade Classic. A Wrath Classic guide also lists Iorioa and the level 65 requirement, but expansion rules can differ. The current general Wowhead spell record confirms the spell’s function, not a retail trainer location or level requirement; these Classic details should not be treated as confirmed retail guidance.
