To unlock the Arcadion in Final Fantasy XIV, finish the Dawntrail main scenario, reach level 100 on a Disciple of War or Magic, then speak to the Stylish Stranger in Solution Nine at X:19.1, Y:18.8. Accept A New Challenger Appears and follow the Arcadion Chronicles of a New Era quests to open the Normal raids. Savage raids have additional quest and item-level requirements.
Start the Arcadion quest line
- Complete the Dawntrail main scenario and reach level 100 on a Disciple of War or Magic. These are the listed prerequisites for the opening quest in the Eorzea Database.
- Go to Solution Nine and speak with the Stylish Stranger at X:19.1, Y:18.8.
- Accept A New Challenger Appears, then continue the Arcadion Chronicles of a New Era quest chain as each tier becomes available.
The Stylish Stranger is the quest contact; you do not begin by entering the raid arena. The Arcadion debuted in Patch 7.01, and after unlocking a Normal raid, you can register for it solo through the Duty Finder, as described in the Patch 7.01 notes.

Normal and Savage access are different

Unlocking each Savage tier
Light-heavyweight Savage
Complete The Neoteric Witch, then speak to Gabbro at X:22.3, Y:17.1 in Solution Nine while on a level 100 Disciple of War or Magic. The official Patch 7.0x notes give the tier’s unlock details.
Cruiserweight Savage
The Patch 7.2 notes identify Souls under Siege as a prerequisite for the Cruiserweight Savage unlock. Continue the Arcadion quest line to that point, then follow the in-game unlock instructions. See the Patch 7.2 notes.

Heavyweight Savage
The Patch 7.4 notes place Feral Fandom in the later Arcadion quest chain and state that Heavyweight Savage requires another Chronicles of a New Era quest followed by speaking with Gabbro in Solution Nine. The immediate prerequisite quest name is not stated in the available patch-note text, so use the quest journal and current duty listing rather than relying on an assumed quest name. The Patch 7.4 notes list Savage entry thresholds of item level 760 for M1, 765 for M2, and 770 for M3 and M4; verify the live values before queuing.

If the quest or duty is unavailable
- The Stylish Stranger has no quest: Confirm both the Dawntrail main scenario and level 100 combat-job requirements are met.
- A later Normal tier is missing: Resume the Arcadion Chronicles of a New Era quests and complete the preceding story steps; tiers were added in successive patches.
- Savage is unavailable: Check that you completed the relevant additional quest gate and meet the current floor’s entry requirements. Savage access is separate from unlocking Normal.
