It is not Jiangsu Warehouse, which is a separate location.
Where the key works
The key’s in-game item description reads: “Unlocks a door in the Shipping Warehouse in Spaceport.” The building it names is Shipping Warehouse, and the map it belongs to is Spaceport. Jiangsu Warehouse is a different site on the same map, so heading there will not get you to the keyed door.
How to get to the room
- Load into Spaceport and locate Shipping Warehouse. The current map guide places it west of West Container Yard.
- Enter the building and climb to an upper level. Guides agree that the keyed room sits upstairs rather than at ground level.
- Look for the locked door named by the key’s description and use the key on it.
Some sources describe the exact floor and the side of the building in slightly different terms. One recent guide points to doors on the north side of the second floor, while a separate walkthrough only describes the upper levels in general. The most reliable guidance is the building and its upper-level position. If the floor or side differs from what you see, search the upper rooms of Shipping Warehouse for the locked door, since layouts and guide wording can vary.

Source dates and limits
The location details above come from a map guide updated on 2026-10-07 and checked on 2026-10-08, and they are corroborated by a separate Shacknews guide that places the room in the upper levels of Shipping Warehouse. Because maps and item behavior can change with game patches, recheck the location after a major update if the layout no longer matches.
