Choose a martial path for the role and mode you actually play, then compare paths by their combat loop—not by a single tier-list rank. The current Version 2.2 guide lists ten paths, each pairing two weapon martial arts, but PvE damage, group contribution, and PvP rankings are not interchangeable.
What a build path is
A martial path is a pairing of two weapon martial arts. The independent WhereWindsMeetGame.org Version 2.2 guide describes this pairing as the starting point for a build and lists these ten combinations. The weapons below are in-game martial arts, not physical products.

How to choose a path
- Pick your role and mode. Decide whether you want damage-focused or solo PvE, group support, or PvP. Silkbind – Deluge is explicitly labeled a healer build in the current path guide.
- Consider the combat loop. Read how a path uses its resources and what limitations it has. The independent WhereWindsMeetGame.org handbook recommends evaluating those practical traits rather than choosing from a name or rank alone.
- Compare like with like. Use PvE damage rankings for damage comparisons, broader PvE evaluations for overall job performance, and PvP lists for PvP. A PvE placement does not establish how a path performs in PvP.
- Check the date and game version. Rankings can reflect different patches and criteria. The cited Version 2.2 guide says it reviewed patch notes dated September 16, 2026, found no martial-art damage or cooldown changes, and corrected a Nameless Sword effect description. It dates the path pairings it checked to October 6, 2026.
What the current tier lists say—and do not say
The following is a dated editorial snapshot reported by the Version 2.2 guide, not an authoritative measurement of in-game power. The four ranking sources use different criteria and dates: NPC Waifu’s PvE damage list (September 19, 2026), OnKamii’s PvP 1v1 list (September 19, 2026), Game8’s overall PvE list (September 3, 2026; Version 2.1), and Game8’s PvP list (September 3, 2026; Version 2.1). In the table, placements follow that order. An asterisk marks a placement the guide says was spoken by the video author because the top row of the board was cut off.

The clearest example of why criteria matter is PvE: NPC Waifu ranks practical damage, while Game8 evaluates broader job performance, including group contributions. Their placements differ for five paths. Game8’s rankings also predate the cited Version 2.2 update, so they should not be treated as post-patch evaluations. Tier labels are each author’s scale; they are not a shared, game-defined measurement.

Practical directions by play style
If you want group healing or support
Consider Silkbind – Deluge (Panacea Fan + Soulshade Umbrella), which the current guide identifies as a healer build. Assess it for the support role rather than judging it solely by a damage ranking.
If you want damage-focused PvE
Compare the PvE damage list with your own preferred combat loop. Do not treat Game8’s broader PvE placement as a direct substitute: it includes overall job performance and group contributions, rather than only practical damage.

If you want PvP
Use the PvP rankings, and note their scope: the cited OnKamii list is for 1v1, while the cited Game8 list is Version 2.1. Neither PvE column answers which path is best for PvP.
If you are undecided
Narrow the options by role, then read a guide that explains each path’s loop, resources, and limitations and states its game version. A tier list alone cannot tell you which combat style you will enjoy.

The cited guides do not establish a universal easiest path, unlock requirements, or the cost of switching. They also do not provide a controlled, player-tested ranking. Check current in-game information before making a decision that depends on any of those details.
