Sony says more than 100 PS5 games are PS5 Pro enhanced. The catalog changes, so the best way to check whether a particular game is included is the PS5 Pro page and its linked PlayStation Store collection. On your console, open PlayStation Store, choose Collections, then select the PS5 Pro Enhanced banner; you can also search the Store for “PS5 Pro.”
How to find the current PS5 Pro Enhanced games list
- On PS5: Open PlayStation Store, select Collections, and choose the PS5 Pro Enhanced banner. Sony Support also says you can search the Store for “PS5 Pro.” See Sony’s instructions for finding PS5 Pro Enhanced games.
- On the web: Start with Sony’s PS5 Pro product page, which links to the full collection.
Use the Store collection as the current catalog rather than relying on an older roundup. Sony’s November 4, 2024 announcement named more than 50 games available at launch; it was a launch sample, not a complete list for today. The product page now says over 100 PS5 titles are enhanced. Those figures describe different points in time and should not be treated as a single count.
What “PS5 Pro enhanced” means
“PS5 Pro enhanced” is a broad label, not a guarantee of one resolution, frame rate, or visual upgrade. Sony identifies several possible benefits: PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR) upscaling, higher or more consistent frame rates, and advanced ray tracing. Which features a game uses—and whether it offers a Pro-specific mode—varies by title. Some features also require a compatible display. Sony outlines those capabilities and qualifications on its PS5 Pro page.

When comparing games, look for the specific improvement described by Sony or the developer: image quality or resolution, frame rate, ray tracing, and available graphics modes. The generic “enhanced” label alone does not tell you which benefit you will see.
Examples of what enhancements can do
The Last of Us Part II Remastered
Sony’s current PS5 Pro page quotes Naughty Dog Lead Programmer Vincent Marxen describing a Pro-specific rendering mode that renders at 1440p, then upscales to 4K with PSSR, targeting 60 fps. This is a description of that game’s mode, not a specification for every enhanced game. See Sony’s title details.
#1 Best Overall
- Ray Tracing - Immerse yourself in worlds with a new level of realism as rays of light are individually simulated, creating true-to-life shadows and reflections in supported PS5 games.
- Faster Loading - Fast-travel across the map and get back into the game almost instantly with the PlayStation 5 console’s ultra-high-speed SSD and fast load times.
- Stunning Visuals - Experience the vast world in stunning 4K and HDR at 120 FPS (with a 4K and HDR compatible TV or display)
- Breathtaking Immersion - Discover a deeper gaming experience with support for haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, and 3D Audio technology.
- Backwards Compatibility - Play over 4,000 PS4 games on PS5. Enjoy faster and smoother frame rates in some of the PS4 console's greatest games.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth
On the same page, Square Enix Director Naoki Hamaguchi says the game’s Enhanced mode runs at 60 FPS and uses PSSR to reach resolution on par with Graphics mode. That illustrates a different trade-off: combining a higher frame-rate target with image quality intended to match the game’s graphics-focused mode. See Sony’s developer explanation.
Horizon Forbidden West
In an early PS5 Pro first-look report, Sony described the game’s Pro Performance mode as delivering image quality matching or surpassing the standard PS5 Quality mode at 60 FPS. This is Sony’s stated comparison for that mode, not a general performance guarantee. See Sony’s first-look report.

Sony’s March 2026 article announced upgraded PSSR support for selected titles, including Control, Alan Wake 2, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, and Dragon Age: The Veilguard. Remedy’s Graphics Technical Director described improvements to upscaling quality and stability, while BioWare’s Studio Technical Director said the updated technology improves image quality while maintaining stable frame rates in Fidelity and Performance modes. These statements concern the upgraded PSSR implementation in selected games; they do not describe every PS5 Pro enhanced title. See Sony’s March 2026 announcement.

PS5 Pro enhancements versus the PS4 image-quality setting
Sony also documents a separate setting called “Enhance Image Quality for PS4 Games.” It is for PS4 games, not a way to identify PS5 Pro Enhanced PS5 titles. Sony places it under Settings > Screen and Video > Video Output and says it is available only on consoles in the CFI-7000 model group. It requires a display that supports 2160p or 1440p output at 60Hz. Details are in Sony’s PS4 game image-quality instructions.
