The exact retro handheld console advertised at $95 for October Prime Day cannot be confirmed from the available listing evidence. Amazon confirms that Prime Big Deal Days 2026 was a 48-hour event scheduled to end at 11:59 p.m. PDT on October 7, but its event page does not identify this product or verify its price.
What is the $95 retro handheld console?
The model and seller behind the headline are not established. The available sources do not identify a matching Amazon product listing, so naming a console as the deal would risk confusing it with an unrelated handheld or offer.
Best Buy’s handheld gaming catalog includes Anbernic RG35XXSP models, but that is only an example of a retro handheld console—not evidence that an RG35XXSP is the item advertised for $95. Best Buy’s handheld gaming listings do not establish a Prime Day price match.
What does Amazon confirm about October Prime Day?
Amazon’s official Prime Big Deal Days 2026 page describes a 48-hour October event scheduled to end at 11:59 p.m. PDT on October 7, 2026. It confirms the event timing, not the console, seller, or $95 offer.

How to check the offer before buying
Use the product page and checkout—not an unverified headline—to determine what the deal actually includes:
- Find the matching Amazon listing and confirm the exact model name and seller.
- Check the current item price and whether a coupon must be selected on the product page.
- Confirm whether the offer requires Prime, then review shipping costs, delivery timing, and stock.
- Verify that the checkout total still reflects the advertised offer before placing the order.
Why a similar $95 deal may not be the same offer
A Slickdeals community post dated September 14, 2026 reported an Anbernic RG Slide for $95.36 after a promo code through an Anbernic US Local Store on AliExpress. That was an earlier offer at a different retailer; it does not verify an Amazon Prime Day deal or establish that the RG Slide is the console in this headline. See the Slickdeals post.
