No service in the available documentation can be confirmed to carry subtitles from prerecorded videos into a continuous 24/7 YouTube stream. Gyre is the clearest documented option for looping prerecorded videos on YouTube, but its reviewed materials do not establish whether it accepts subtitle files or preserves embedded subtitle tracks. If selectable YouTube captions are essential, confirm the workflow with the provider or test it before subscribing.
First, distinguish YouTube captions from subtitles in the picture
A viewer-selectable YouTube caption track is different from text permanently burned into the video image. YouTube Studio supports adding timed subtitle or caption files to uploaded videos, as well as auto-syncing a transcript or entering captions manually. That does not establish that a third-party service will carry those captions into a live stream made from the video.
Burned-in subtitles are part of the picture itself. The reviewed service documentation does not settle whether Gyre preserves embedded subtitle tracks or supports external timed subtitle files, and it does not document a subtitle-rendering control. Do not assume either selectable captions or burned-in subtitles will work without checking the actual output.

2. Gyre: the clearest documented 24/7 prerecorded-video service, with captions unverified
YouTube’s verified encoder directory describes Gyre as a cloud tool for 24/7 live streaming of prerecorded YouTube videos. Gyre’s product page describes uploading files, converting media, creating a looping playlist, connecting a YouTube account, and running that playlist continuously. The reviewed materials do not document .srt or .vtt uploads, embedded-track preservation, or caption encoding controls. That is an evidence gap, not proof that the feature is impossible.
3. Restream: caption and prerecorded-event features are documented separately
Restream documents support for embedded CEA-608/708 captions in normal-latency YouTube streams sent through RTMP or SRT, when captions are enabled in the encoder and YouTube channel settings. Separately, its Upload & Stream feature accepts uploaded videos or playlists for scheduled prerecorded events and can replay a scheduled video up to 10 times. The reviewed documentation does not confirm embedded-caption support in that prerecorded workflow or continuous 24/7 looping, so treat it as an adjacent option for scheduled events unless Restream confirms the combination you need.

4. StreamYard: scheduled prerecorded broadcasts, no built-in live captions
StreamYard supports scheduled prerecorded broadcasts that start and end automatically. Its documentation says it does not have built-in live captions and points to captions provided by destination platforms such as YouTube. The reviewed material does not document a continuous 24/7 loop.
What YouTube captions do—and do not—solve
Captions on uploaded videos
YouTube can generate automatic captions for uploaded long-form videos and Shorts in supported languages, though they may take time to appear and may contain recognition errors. Creators can review and edit them. YouTube Studio also lets creators add a timed caption file, auto-sync a transcript, or enter captions manually. These are features of the uploaded-video workflow; they do not verify how a streaming service will handle captions when it sends the video as a live stream.

Automatic captions during a live stream
YouTube’s Help Center documents live automatic captions as English-only, available to eligible channels as the feature rolls out, and limited to individual streams using normal latency. YouTube states: “After the live stream ends, live automatic captions won’t remain on the video.” A separate caption track is generated for the resulting video through YouTube’s VOD process. Live captions therefore should not be treated as a guaranteed replacement for a carried-over subtitle track.
How to verify subtitle support before committing
- Decide what viewers need. Specify whether you need a selectable YouTube CC track, subtitles burned into the picture, or both. Ask whether captions must also remain available on the archived video.
- Ask the provider precise questions. For Gyre, ask whether uploads preserve embedded subtitle streams or accept external timed caption files, and whether either reaches YouTube as viewer-selectable captions during continuous streaming and remains on the archive. Ask StreamNeo or any other provider the same questions rather than assuming a general 24/7 feature includes caption support.
- Run a short test if the answer is unclear. Use a short video with a known embedded subtitle track and, if the provider supports it, a separate timed caption file. Check the live YouTube player for a CC option and confirm whether the captions display as intended.
- Check the archive separately. After ending the test stream, inspect the resulting video and its caption options. Live captions, selectable caption tracks, and burned-in text can behave differently during a broadcast and afterward.
- Get confirmation for the exact workflow. A claim that a service streams prerecorded video, or supports captions in another streaming mode, does not by itself verify subtitles in its continuous prerecorded-video workflow.
