Fans suspect the figure on the Pokémon Legends: Z-A box art is Emma, the game’s detective and Pokémon Trainer. Emma is officially part of the game, but the official character pages reviewed do not confirm that she is the figure shown on the box art—so the identification remains a fan theory.
Why fans think the box-art figure is Emma
A discussion on Reddit’s r/PokeGals from May 28, 2025, proposed that the figure in the official box-art image was Emma. Participants pointed to similarities with her earlier appearance and clothing. The thread establishes that fans have made the connection, not that it is correct; one reply specifically noted that the identification was not confirmed.

Who Emma is in Pokémon Legends: Z-A
The Pokémon Company’s official Emma character page says she inherited leadership of her detective agency in Lumiose and describes her as the city’s best detective and a Pokémon Trainer. Players can help her investigate missing Pokémon and lost items, and join her in occasional battles.
Nintendo’s official game page also describes Emma as a detective and Trainer and presents character images under her name. These sources confirm her place in the cast, but neither identifies the specific box-art figure as Emma.
