Nakak is an Ostron vendor in Cetus who sells masks and oddities. She is also the starting point for the Mask of the Revenant mini-quest: once you meet the stated prerequisite, you begin it by talking to her and choosing the “Mask” dialogue option.
Who Nakak is
Official Warframe material describes Nakak as an oddities vendor in Cetus. She is presented as a young Ostron girl, but that characterization comes from the community lore archive rather than from an official gameplay instruction, so treat it as background. Her in-character voice is clearest in the official Mask of the Revenant update announcement, where she tells the Tenno: “Don the mask, Tenno. Find what the Unum means us to see.”
Where to find her
Go to the Cetus market and speak to Nakak. Official guidance confirms the Cetus location and the “Mask” dialogue route, but it does not give an exact stall position. Expect to search the market area on your first visit rather than navigating to a fixed coordinate.
How to start Mask of the Revenant
The stated prerequisite is Observer rank (rank 2) with the Quills. This is a separate requirement from Ostron standing, so building standing with Ostron alone does not open the quest.

- Confirm you have reached Observer rank (rank 2) with the Quills.
- Visit Nakak in the Cetus market and choose the “Mask” dialogue option.
- Purchase the Mask of the Lost One.
- Equip the mask on your Operator. The night-time searches that follow depend on it.
The Plains of Eidolon searches and bounty loop
With the mask equipped, travel to the Plains of Eidolon at night and search the marked area. Listen to Nakak’s dialogue during the search for hints about where to look next. Once a search is complete, return to Cetus and continue with the bounty stage.
- In Cetus, speak to Konzu and use the bounty board.
- Select a bounty whose possible rewards include a Revenant component blueprint.
- Complete the bounty repeatedly until the blueprint drops.
- Build the Revenant component and claim it.
- Repeat the night search and the bounty sequence with a different Revenant component.
Throughout, keep following the marked search areas and Nakak’s instructions, since each stage points to the next.
