The man Nathan Drake meets on the beach in Uncharted (2022) is Nolan North, the voice actor who plays Nathan Drake in the video games. His brief, unnamed appearance is a nod to the games—not the film’s separate post-credits scene.
Who is the beach man in Uncharted?
Nolan North appears in a short cameo after Nathan Drake (Tom Holland) and Chloe Frazer (Sophia Ali) wash up at a beachside resort in the Philippines. When the man asks what happened, Nathan says they fell out of a car that fell out of a plane. The man replies, “Huh, you know…something like that happened to me once.” SYFY Wire reported the scene and North’s cameo in 2022.

North voices Nathan Drake in the Uncharted games, so the moment is a meta cameo rather than a named role in the movie. North described it as “just enough of a nod that everyone goes, ‘Ah, that’s the guy!’”
Is the beach cameo the post-credits scene?
No. The beach encounter and the later bar scene are different moments, with different actors. In the post-credits scene, Pilou Asbæk plays Gage, a one-eyed villain who deals with Nathan; Sully joins them. Director Ruben Fleischer identified Asbæk’s character as Gage in a 2022 interview with TheWrap.
