Abigail is the leading theory, but Stardew Valley does not confirm her as the Wizard’s daughter. The Wizard says he suspects one local villager may be his child, then admits he could be mistaken. Caroline’s secret visits to his tower and her account of Abigail’s birth make Abigail the strongest fit for the clues—but neither character identifies her as the Wizard’s daughter outright.
What the Wizard actually says
At 10 hearts, the Wizard tells the player: “You musn’t tell anyone… but I have reason to believe that one of the locals is actually my daughter… I could be mistaken… It’s rare, but it does happen.” The line establishes his suspicion, not a confirmed identity: he names no one and explicitly allows that he may be wrong. Why Abigail is the leading theory
Caroline’s visits to the tower
Caroline says that when she and Pierre first moved to Pelican Town, she would take secret walks to the Wizard’s Tower. She adds that Abigail was born about a year after they moved. Those details place Caroline’s visits before Abigail’s birth and make Abigail a plausible candidate, but Caroline does not say that the Wizard fathered her child. (Caroline’s dialogue on the Stardew Valley Wiki)
Abigail’s former hair color
Caroline also recalls that Abigail used to have light chestnut-colored hair and says she would look better with her natural color. That is a detail about Abigail’s appearance; the dialogue does not establish that her hair, current or former, proves magical inheritance or identifies her father. Her connection to the tower
Abigail’s documented schedule places her near the Wizard’s Tower on Sundays. It adds to the association between her and the Wizard, but a character’s route is not confirmation of a family relationship. (Abigail’s schedule on the Stardew Valley Wiki)

| Clue | What it establishes | What it does not establish |
|---|---|---|
| The Wizard’s 10-heart dialogue | He believes one local may be his daughter and says he could be mistaken. | It does not name the person or confirm the relationship. |
| Caroline’s account | She made secret visits to the tower and says Abigail was born about a year after the move to Pelican Town. | It does not say the Wizard is Abigail’s biological father. |
| Caroline’s hair remark | Abigail used to have light chestnut-colored hair. | It does not connect that hair color to magic or parentage. |
| Abigail’s Sunday schedule | She is associated with the area near the Wizard’s Tower. | It does not prove she is his daughter. |
So the careful answer is that Abigail is strongly implied by the clues, while the cited dialogue leaves her identity unconfirmed. The Wizard’s statement is direct about his suspicion but nonspecific about the person; Caroline’s statements are specific about her own visits and Abigail’s timing, but stop short of naming a father.
