Streamer Ludwig Ahgren’s custom GameCube controller was a one-off tournament prize, not a retail product. Sculptor Isaac Caplan Wilson and a hobbyist controller designer identified only as Michael built it after Ahgren requested a custom controller for winning an Among Us tournament.
What the custom controller looked like
The design turned the controller’s familiar parts into the joke: the shell represented the testicles, the cable became the shaft, and the plug formed the tip. It was still built around a usable GameCube controller, rather than being a display sculpture alone.
In a post reproduced by MEL Magazine, Ahgren reacted to the finished gift: “This is the greatest thing I’ve ever owned”.
Who made Ludwig’s custom GameCube controller?
Michael, whom MEL describes as a hobbyist controller designer, coordinated the project and customized the controller’s internals. The feature identifies him only by his first name. He brought in specialist sculptor Isaac Caplan Wilson, who works as Design Out of Shield, to sculpt the shell by hand and paint it. Other collaborators worked on button and cable details.

How it was built and what it cost
Michael’s initial problem was figuring out how to put the requested shape on a controller that could still be used. Wilson sculpted the shell, then applied multiple layers of paint to create a gradient skin tone. Michael handled the internals while collaborators finished details such as the buttons and cable.
MEL’s November 22, 2021 feature reports that the project cost $500, excluding Michael’s time. That is the reported cost of this individual build, not a current quote or a typical custom-controller price. The feature’s comments about how the controller felt or performed are the makers’ impressions, not independent test results. Read MEL Magazine’s account of the build.

Can you buy one or commission a similar controller?
The featured controller was given to Ahgren. The available account does not say it was offered for sale, and it does not establish whether its makers still accept commissions. A standard GameCube controller is a separate, ordinary product: it shares the hardware category, but it is not this one-off custom item.
For a custom GameCube controller, a maker’s commission page can help establish what kinds of designs and components are offered, but it does not guarantee that commissions are open or that a particular design will be accepted. Control In Color describes custom design options and says its controllers use original parts and are play-tested; its site does not confirm availability for this adult-themed design. Check directly with the maker about current availability, compatibility, parts, scope, and price before committing. See Control In Color’s custom controller information.
