What does Roblox’s first user account show?
Roblox’s live user API identifies user ID 1 as “Roblox” and marks the account as automated. Its current record reports the creation timestamp 2006-02-27T21:06:40.3Z (UTC). This is the timestamp returned by the API now; by itself, it does not establish the account’s full history or when its name may have changed.

Was the first Roblox user a person?
Not necessarily. “First user” can mean the earliest account identifier or the first human being to use Roblox. The API answers the first question: ID 1 is the earliest account by ID. The available official records do not establish who first operated that account or who was the first human player.
Was the account originally called Admin?
That claim is not verified by the current user record. The API identifies ID 1 by its current name, Roblox, but does not provide a complete former-username history. Community discussion of early account names is not authoritative proof that ID 1 was originally called “Admin,” so that name should be treated as unconfirmed.

What do Roblox’s founders have to do with it?
Roblox’s founder context helps explain the platform’s early history, but it does not identify the person behind ID 1. In a letter included in its SEC filing, founder and CEO David Baszucki recalled, “We knew almost everyone in the Roblox community during those first few months.” That describes a small early community; it does not say that Baszucki was the first human user or that he operated the ID 1 account.
First Round’s account of Roblox’s beginnings describes Baszucki and co-founder Erik Cassel working on an early prototype in 2004. That provides founding context, not evidence about who first used a particular account.
