If a GTA 6 code or add-on is missing from your library, first identify what the code grants and where it was redeemed. The physical Standard Edition code is for the game and Vintage Vice City Pack; it is not a disc, and Rockstar says pre-loading is scheduled to begin November 12, 2026, ahead of the November 19 launch. Some bonus content may not create a separate library tile at all.
First, identify which GTA 6 code or add-on you have
“DLC code” can mean several different things. They do not all redeem in the same place or appear in the same way.

Check whether it is simply too early
Rockstar’s current schedule says code-enabled pre-loading for GTA 6 begins at local midnight on November 12, 2026, and the game launches November 19, 2026. If you are checking before the stated pre-load date, the absence of an installable game entry does not by itself show that the code failed. PlayStation
PlayStation voucher content is applied to the account used to redeem the code. Confirm you are signed into that same PSN account, then restart the console and sign out and back in. Check transaction history to see whether the one-time voucher was redeemed. Sony also notes that some voucher rewards, including in-game currency, consumables, and skins, may not require a separate download, so a missing library tile is not conclusive. Xbox
For a Microsoft Store code or purchase, check the Microsoft account that redeemed or bought it and use Xbox Support’s prepaid-code or missing-purchase help. If the code was supplied by Rockstar rather than the platform, contact Rockstar Support instead. The troubleshooting guidance cited here does not establish a specific Xbox console menu sequence, so avoid applying PlayStation or PC Launcher instructions to an Xbox voucher. Rockstar Launcher
Launcher redemption is for Rockstar Activation Codes, not PlayStation or Xbox Store vouchers. Verify the currently signed-in Rockstar account: Rockstar states that once used, a Launcher code is permanently bound to that account. Rockstar Launcher activation guidance

Check region compatibility
A code can fail or be unusable if its region does not match the account or storefront. Rockstar advises buying from a retailer in the country associated with the platform account and lists regional restrictions for PlayStation; it says Xbox codes are not region-locked. - Enter it exactly as printed. For Rockstar’s activation webpage, retain the dashes and remove any spaces accidentally added during copy and paste. Rockstar activation guidance
- Confirm you are using the correct redemption system. Use the relevant console store for platform vouchers; use Rockstar Launcher only for Rockstar Activation Codes.
- Keep your proof of purchase and code private. Do not post a voucher or activation code publicly. For an unresolved Rockstar activation error, Rockstar requests the receipt, images of the box and code sheet, the code as typed, the exact error text, and region details for PlayStation cases. - Escalate to the issuer. For a platform-issued voucher or store purchase, contact PlayStation or Xbox Support. For a Rockstar-issued activation code, use Rockstar Support’s activation troubleshooting route.
What a missing library tile does—and does not—tell you
A library entry is useful for checking a game download, but it is not a universal receipt for every add-on. A bonus may be attached to the redeeming account or delivered as an in-game entitlement without appearing as a separate install. Conversely, seeing no game entry before Rockstar’s scheduled pre-load date does not prove that an unredeemed code is valid. Confirm the code type, redemption account, region, and transaction record rather than relying on the tile alone.
