On August 8, 2025, RileyCS—also identified online as RileyCS_ or riley_cs—posted a Battlefield 6 beta gameplay clip on X. Some viewers focused on a quick aim snap in the footage and accused her of using an aimbot. What did RileyCS say, and what did the handcam show?
RileyCS denied cheating. On August 10, she posted gameplay footage accompanied by a handcam, apparently to let viewers see her hands while she played. The response did not settle the dispute: some viewers accepted the footage, while others remained unconvinced. Streamer Tectone continued making accusations, according to Know Your Meme’s account. Neither the denial nor the handcam, as described in the available reporting, establishes what caused the aim movement.
Did RileyCS cheat in the Battlefield 6 beta?
The reviewed reporting does not answer that question. It recounts the clip, the accusations, RileyCS’s denial and the handcam response, but does not provide a technical analysis or a public finding from EA establishing that she cheated.

Forbes Senior Contributor Paul Tassi wrote on August 12, 2025: “The fact is, nothing can be proven either way at this point, and even a Twitch ban can come from mass reporting on the platform and was likely overturned on appeal.” That was Tassi’s contemporaneous assessment, not an official Twitch explanation or finding. Forbes’ report also discusses why a platform account action should not be treated as proof of cheating.
What does the Twitch ban and restoration mean?
RileyCS’s Twitch account was briefly banned and then restored, as reported at the time. The sequence does not by itself show why Twitch took action, nor does restoration amount to a public finding that the allegation was false. GamesRadar+ specifically cautioned that the account’s return was not proof of innocence. Its August 12, 2025 report covers the ban and reinstatement.

How do Battlefield 6’s rules treat cheating reports?
EA’s current Battlefield 6 rules prohibit aimbots, wallhacks, exploits and other unfair advantages. The rules page states: “We require clear evidence of cheating to ban a player.” EA’s Battlefield 6 rules page sets out that standard.
EA’s Season 4 anti-cheat update explains that its Match Infection Rate is a predictive metric that uses player reports alongside other signals. Reports can help direct investigations, but EA says they do not alone constitute evidence or trigger sanctions. EA also noted that reports against legitimate skilled players contributed to a rise in the metric, prompting changes to how those cases are filtered. This is general policy context, not evidence about RileyCS or the reason for any Twitch action. EA’s Season 4 anti-cheat update describes the system.
