The B.E.A.S.T. Glove was not sold as a separate $80 item. In 2024, getting the Kong-themed blueprint meant buying four Godzilla x Kong bundles in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone, which gaming outlets put at roughly $80 in total. Players objected that the cosmetic offered limited distinctive features when it launched; a later report said an update added an effect that sent struck enemies flying across the map.
What the “$80 B.E.A.S.T. Glove” actually was
The B.E.A.S.T. Glove was a digital weapon blueprint for the Gladiator melee weapon, styled after Kong’s glove in Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire. It appeared as part of the 2024 crossover in Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone. The roughly $80 figure referred to the combined reported cost of four themed bundles needed for the blueprint—not a standalone glove purchase. GameSpot and Insider Gaming covered the controversy in April 2024.

How the reported $80 total added up
GameSpot reported that each of the four bundles cost 2,400 CoD Points, or about $20; Insider Gaming described each as approximately $19.99. Those historical U.S. conversions put the four-bundle total at around $80.

| One crossover bundle | 2,400 CoD Points, about $20, according to GameSpot; approximately $19.99, according to Insider Gaming | Each bundle contributed toward the four-bundle requirement for the blueprint. |
| All four crossover bundles | About $80 combined, as reported by GameSpot and Insider Gaming | The approximate historical U.S. total—not a separate price for the glove. |
| Base Gladiator melee weapon | Free Season 3 battle pass unlock, according to GameSpot | The weapon itself was distinct from the paid B.E.A.S.T. blueprint. |
The dollar amounts are outlet-reported conversions for the 2024 bundles, not current prices. A player who already had CoD Points could spend less new cash than someone starting without them; GameSpot noted this distinction.

Why players criticized the blueprint at launch
The objections were about the price relative to what the blueprint initially did and how it looked in play. GameSpot reported complaints that it lacked camo support and did not initially have the dramatic enemy-launching behavior some players expected. Its distinguishing cosmetic feature included a unique inspect animation. These were launch-era criticisms, not a measure of every player’s opinion.
GameSpot relayed a Reddit user’s reaction: “The only plus sides are it counts as a Mastercraft Blueprint (unique inspect) and the joy of punching enemies. But it doesn’t do anything special. I thought it would at least ragdoll enemies, if not corpse launch them. And you can’t even equip camos over it.” That is one player’s complaint, not an official description or representative survey.

What changed after launch
The launch criticism does not capture the later reported behavior. On July 30, 2024, Dexerto reported that an update added an effect that could send enemies flying across the map when struck. Dexerto quoted a post from DETONATED describing the change as an update to “SUPER YEET” enemies. Some players welcomed the addition; others objected that it arrived months after the bundle controversy.
Can you still get the B.E.A.S.T. Glove?
The reports establish the 2024 bundle requirement and the later reported update, but they do not establish whether the bundles or blueprint are currently available. They also do not establish whether later patches changed the effect again. Treat the $80 figure and availability discussion as historical, rather than assuming the items remain in the store or can still be unlocked.
