The new address must also be accessible, supported, and not already linked to another Supercell ID. If the old inbox is unavailable or the in-game option is missing, contact Supercell Support through the game; Support may help after verifying that you own the account.
How to change your Supercell ID email in the game
Open the game account connected to the Supercell ID you want to update. Then follow this path:

- Open Settings.
- Tap Supercell ID.
- Tap the settings cog.
- Tap Change Email beside the current address.
- Confirm that you can access the current email, then enter the verification code sent there.
Supercell’s email-change instructions say there is no limit to how many times you can change the address. Make sure the game is showing the account you intend to change: the setting applies to the Supercell ID connected to that game account.
Why the change may not work
You can’t access the current email
The normal in-game route depends on a code sent to the current registered address. If you have lost access to that inbox, use in-game Help and Support to ask for account recovery rather than trying to bypass the code. Supercell says Support may change the linked email after verifying account ownership.

The replacement address is already linked or unsupported
The new address must not already be connected to a Supercell ID. Supercell also says some email domains are unsupported and recommends trying a different address if you receive an error. Its Supercell ID guidance does not publish a complete list of supported domains, so do not assume a particular provider will work; check whether the game accepts the address.
“Change Email” is missing or disabled
Supercell says it may disable email changes for accounts it considers unsecured. Its public guidance does not specify the criteria, so a missing or disabled option does not establish why your particular account is restricted. Contact Support through the game for account-specific help.

The confirmation code does not arrive
Check that you are looking in the inbox for the current address and that you entered the correct game account’s Supercell ID settings. Supercell ID uses emailed verification codes for login rather than a password. If the email-change screen rejects your proposed new address, try another address that is not already linked to a Supercell ID.
Supercell’s current email-change instructions are the relevant guide for emailed change codes. Its suggestions about network stability, airplane mode, SMS delivery, Android spam folders, and waiting after repeated requests concern Account Protection SMS verification; they are not established fixes for an emailed change code. SMS verification also requires playing in a region where Account Protection is available, according to Supercell’s Account Protection guidance.

Choose the right route for your situation

What to prepare for Support
When requesting recovery through in-game Help and Support, provide details that help Supercell identify the account. Its lost-access guidance lists information such as your Player ID or tag, account name and level, current clan or other in-game group if applicable, and transaction IDs for past purchases if available. Support must verify ownership before changing the linked email.
If Account Protection is enabled, an SMS verification or Recovery Code may help prove ownership. Supercell explains these options in its Account Protection guide. Never share login or recovery codes with someone who contacts you unexpectedly. Supercell advises providing codes only in a support conversation you started through in-game Help and Support; see its account-safety guidance.

Why does Supercell ask for the old email’s code?
The code confirms access to the address currently registered to the Supercell ID before it is changed. Supercell’s current support instructions describe that verification step. An earlier official Brawl Stars announcement, published January 23, 2023, also said a confirmation code is sent to the current registered email when changing the associated address; the announcement is consistent with the current instructions.
