The Hi-Fi RUSH soundtrack was reported missing from streaming services around November 10, 2025, but that was a temporary, historical removal—not proof that it remains unavailable today. On November 11, director John Johanas said it was “likely” connected to the publisher transition and that the soundtrack would return, without giving a date. The exact cause was not confirmed. Store listings later showed access through Apple Music/iTunes and a downloadable Steam soundtrack, though availability can vary by service and region.
Why was the Hi-Fi RUSH soundtrack removed from Spotify?
Reports said the original soundtrack disappeared from streaming services around November 10, 2025. The next day, GamesRadar+ quoted director John Johanas saying, “FYI this is likely publisher transition related and the soundtrack will be back on services soon. Just not sure when. Please stay tuned! Don’t panic!”
Johanas described the publisher transition as a likely explanation, not a confirmed root cause. The available sources do not establish whether a particular license expired, or identify the specific rights, distribution, or metadata change that triggered the removal.
KRAFTON’s service-transfer FAQ says service provision moved from Bethesda Softworks/ZeniMax to KRAFTON on November 14, 2025. That timing is consistent with Johanas’s explanation, but does not independently prove the cause of the soundtrack’s removal.

Is the Hi-Fi RUSH soundtrack back on streaming?
At the time the cited listings were checked, Apple Music displayed the official album and indicated it was also available in the iTunes Store. That US listing identifies the album as “Hi-Fi RUSH: Original Game Soundtrack,” dated February 21, 2023, with 66 songs and a total runtime of 3 hours 17 minutes. Check Apple Music’s album listing for current access in your territory.
A listing does not guarantee playback in every country or account. Spotify says its catalog can vary over time and by country according to rights-holder permissions; that general policy explains why availability may differ, but does not confirm what happened to this particular album. Spotify’s track availability guidance describes those general catalog limitations.

Where can I listen to the Hi-Fi RUSH soundtrack?
| Option | What the listing establishes | Practical distinction |
|---|---|---|
| Apple Music / iTunes | Apple Music lists the 66-song album with a 3-hour-17-minute runtime and says it is also available in the iTunes Store. Apple Music listing | Album-listing access; territory and account availability may differ. |
| Steam | Steam lists a downloadable soundtrack released April 6, 2023, as additional content separate from the base game. The store description says it includes more than 60 tracks and over three hours of music. Steam soundtrack listing | A downloadable purchase, not the base game. Do not assume its track list is identical to Apple’s album or includes exactly the same licensed songs. |
For an existing purchase, KRAFTON says soundtrack and DLC purchases made through Steam, Epic, PlayStation, and Xbox remain usable after the service transfer. The FAQ addresses continued use of prior purchases; it does not guarantee that streaming catalog availability is identical across platforms.

KRAFTON says Streamer Mode replaces licensed songs with original tracks made for streaming. This can reduce copyright risk from the game’s licensed music, but it is not a guarantee against platform enforcement: KRAFTON warns that external platform policies and automated detection can still affect uploads. See its Streamer Mode guidance before recording or publishing gameplay.
