There isn’t one confirmed cause for every Valorant tracker problem. First identify what is failing: a profile or match history on a website, missing stats, live-match detection in a desktop app, or an overlay that will not appear. Each points to a different fix. For Tracker Network’s Overwolf app, its support guidance is to check Game Integration, follow its Overwolf troubleshooting guide, and submit app logs if the issue persists.
First, identify what is not working
“Valorant tracker not working” can describe separate problems in the tracker’s website, its access to player data, its desktop app, or its overlay. Identify the failing part before changing settings:
- Profile not found or unavailable: Check the Riot ID spelling, region, and the tracker’s account-linking or opt-in flow.
- Match history or stats missing or stale: Check whether you have opted in to sharing your personal data with that service.
- Live match not detected: Troubleshoot the desktop app’s game integration.
- Overlay does not appear: Follow the app provider’s overlay-specific troubleshooting and support steps.
The available provider guidance does not establish a single fix for all trackers or all failure types.
If your profile or stats are missing
Check whether you have opted in to sharing personal data with the particular tracker. Riot’s VALORANT developer guidance says third-party apps that show personal stats or gameplay data must ask users to opt in through Riot Sign On. Riot says users who have not opted in should not have their personal data exposed to others through that service’s website, applications, or overlays.

That policy can explain missing profile data, but it does not diagnose every tracker problem. Riot controls API access and approval; the existence of VALORANT API categories does not guarantee that a particular tracker can access data or that it is currently available.
- Check the Riot ID spelling and region you entered.
- Open the tracker’s account-linking flow and complete its Riot Sign On opt-in, if offered.
- If the profile still does not load, contact the tracker through its support channel. Tracker Network lists Valorant among the supported sites and provides separate routes for website and Overwolf app issues on its support page.
If the live-match detector or overlay fails
For the Tracker Network Valorant app running through Overwolf, the provider’s answer to a live-match detection issue, dated July 25, 2024, recommends this sequence:

- Check that Game Integration is enabled.
- Follow Tracker Network’s common Overwolf issues guide.
- If the problem remains, send the app logs to Tracker Network support using its support page.
This is provider-specific guidance for its Overwolf app, not a confirmed universal fix for other tracker apps. The provider’s support case does not establish that restarting or updating the app will solve the issue.
When Vanguard might be relevant
Vanguard should not be treated as a catch-all explanation for a tracker failure. In a third-party-app FAQ published April 1, 2024, Riot Games Developer Relations said: “Overlays and internal tools using the API, game client, and in-game APIs should continue to function. External tools reading memory will no longer work, and you’ll need to change methods.” Riot’s FAQ discusses Vanguard’s rollout for League of Legends and TFT, so it does not establish that Vanguard caused a particular Valorant tracker problem or identify how that tracker gets its data. Riot also says there is no allow list.

Do not disable Vanguard as a tracker fix. Riot’s guidance says memory-reading tools must change methods; it does not recommend turning off the anti-cheat.

Tracker app or website issue
Contact the tracker provider, using its website-support route for profile or site problems and its Overwolf-app route for detection or overlay problems. For Tracker Network, start at its support page and follow the relevant route. If support requests app logs, send them through that channel rather than posting diagnostics publicly.

Riot client or game issue
If the problem appears to involve the Riot client or game rather than the tracker, use Riot’s VALORANT support portal for technical help or ticket submission. Riot’s Windows log-gathering guide describes the Riot Repair Tool and these locations:
