Roblox email problems depend on which message is missing: an address-verification link, password or username recovery, a 2-step verification code, or a one-time login code. Check the email address attached to the account and filtered folders first, then retry that specific flow. If email recovery still fails, use a phone number or verification method already linked to the account, where available, or contact Roblox Support.
Start by identifying the missing email
Roblox uses different instructions for different messages, so choose the matching case before requesting another email:
- Address verification: confirming an email from Account Settings.
- Password or username recovery: regaining access or looking up a forgotten username.
- 2-step verification: a code requested during sign-in because email is configured as a verification method.
- One-time login code: an alternative sign-in code offered to some users.
If you are trying to sign in with your email rather than receive a code, the address must be verified on the account. Roblox also recommends trying your username; if the email is associated with more than one username, sign in with the username and password instead. Roblox’s email login guidance explains these requirements.
Check the address and inbox before retrying
- Confirm the account’s email. Make sure you are checking the inbox attached to that Roblox account, not another address. For password recovery, enter the address as it was saved; Roblox notes that formatting such as a period can differ from what you expect.
- Search filtered folders. Check Spam or Junk for all message types. For 2-step codes, also check Promotions, Social, and other folders. If you find a Roblox message there, mark it as Not Spam.
- Retry within the original flow. Use Resend, Resend Code, or Start Over if that option appears on the relevant screen. A retry is not a reason to share a code with anyone.
Roblox does not publish a guaranteed delivery time or email-delivery rate in the cited help articles. Its guidance generally says to check the inbox after a few minutes for verification and password-reset mail; do not assume that repeated requests guarantee immediate delivery.

Fixes by message type
Verification email
Open Account Settings and go to Account Info to verify the address. If the message does not arrive after a few minutes, check Spam or Junk. If it is still missing, add [email protected] to your contacts or address book and try verification again. For users under 13, Roblox describes a parent’s verified email as a parental recovery email. See Roblox’s email and phone verification instructions.
Password reset or username recovery
Use Roblox’s password recovery instructions and enter the email address associated with the account. If the reset email has not arrived after a few minutes, check Spam or Junk. If a phone number is attached and phone recovery is available for you, choose the Phone tab on the recovery page.

For a forgotten username, Roblox says email or phone lookup works only if that contact information was added to the account beforehand. Its documented methods cannot recover a username without email, phone, or purchase history; this is not a guarantee about every possible Support outcome.
2-step verification email
First confirm the inbox is for the email on the account, then search Spam, Junk, Promotions, Social, and other folders. Add [email protected] to your contacts, then select Resend Code or Start Over on the verification screen. If email still does not work, try another 2-step method already configured on the account or contact Customer Support. Roblox says email 2-step codes expire after 15 minutes and stop working if already entered incorrectly for that account. Follow its 2-step verification troubleshooting guidance.

One-time email login code
Roblox offers one-time email codes only to some users, and the account must have a verified email. Check Spam or Junk, confirm the address exactly matches the verified account email, and select Resend. Enter the code on the same device you used to request it. If it still fails, Roblox recommends signing in with your password; you may need to wait before one-time codes work again for that email. Roblox says it will never contact you to ask for a one-time code, so do not share it. See Roblox’s one-time code instructions.

Self-service password reset requires an email or phone number attached to the account. If neither is attached, Roblox says the reset feature cannot reset the account; contact Roblox Customer Support and describe the login problem. Roblox requires ownership verification before it resets an account or changes account information, so provide the requested details through its official Support process.

If you can still log in but cannot access the old email, Roblox’s published email-change steps require signing in, opening Account Info, entering the current Roblox password, and following a message sent to the new address. The former email receives an alert. The instructions do not provide a way to change the address solely through access to the old inbox; if you cannot sign in, use account recovery or Support guidance. See Roblox’s email-change instructions.
