If Roblox won’t let you unblock someone, first check whether the block was set by you or by a parent. You can remove a block you made from Settings → Privacy & content maturity → Blocked users, then select Unblock and Save. A parent-imposed block cannot be removed by the child directly; Roblox provides an on-screen option to request the parent’s approval.
How to unblock someone you blocked
- Sign in to the Roblox account that blocked the user.
- Open account settings. On the website, select the gear icon; in the mobile app, tap More (three dots), then settings.
- Choose Privacy & content maturity, then open Blocked users.
- Find the username and select Unblock.
- Select Save to apply the change.

When a parent blocked the account
Roblox says a child cannot unblock a user their parent blocked. If the settings page offers a parent-request flow, select Unblock and follow the prompts to send the request. The parent linked to the account must review it; the child cannot remove that restriction themselves.
What happens when someone is blocked
Roblox’s blocking guide says blocked users are no longer friends or followers of one another and cannot directly contact each other through messages, friend requests, experience invites, or party invites.

If the unblock option or save step does not work
Roblox’s documented unblock instructions explain the standard settings path and the parent-block exception, but do not identify other causes for a missing button or a failed save. Check whether the account is subject to a parent block and follow any request flow shown. If there is no such flow and the steps still fail, note the screen you are on and any error message before seeking Roblox Support; the available guidance does not establish a particular technical cause.
