Yes. Bethesda has confirmed it is working on a Fallout: New Vegas remaster, but it has not announced a release date. Platforms, price, and changes to the game have not been specified in the announcement coverage.
Is a Fallout: New Vegas remaster confirmed?
Yes. In a statement reported on July 17, 2026, Bethesda said: “While we’re not announcing any dates today, we have been working on remasters for both Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas.” Video Games Chronicle reported Bethesda’s statement, confirming the project is in development rather than merely rumored.
When will the New Vegas remaster come out?
Bethesda has not announced a release date. Its July 17, 2026 statement explicitly said it was not announcing dates, and provides no basis for predicting a release year or window. Windows Central’s coverage of its interview with Bethesda Game Studios director Todd Howard also reports that no dates were given.
What platforms and changes have been announced?
The announcement coverage does not specify target platforms, pricing, technical specifications, or gameplay changes. Those details remain unannounced; there is not enough information to say whether the remaster is coming to PC, consoles, or both.

Is the 15th Anniversary Bundle the remaster?
No. Bethesda announced a separate Fallout: New Vegas 15th Anniversary Bundle on October 23, 2025, planned for PC in 2026. The official announcement describes it as a PC digital code for Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition with six add-on content items: Dead Money, Honest Hearts, Old World Blues, Lonesome Road, Courier’s Stash Weapon Pack, and Gun Runner’s Arsenal Weapon Pack. It is an edition bundle, not evidence that the remaster has been released or is available to preorder. See Bethesda’s bundle announcement.

The July 17, 2026 coverage also reports a separate new Fallout project involving Obsidian. That project should not be confused with the New Vegas remaster: Bethesda’s remaster statement does not identify its developer, and the coverage does not establish that Obsidian is making it. Todd Howard’s comments about mutual respect between Bethesda and Obsidian describe the studios’ relationship, not the remaster’s schedule or features.
