Is Marathon included in Xbox Game Pass?
There is no confirmed Game Pass catalog listing in the official sources reviewed. The Bungie launch announcement, dated March 5, 2026, says Marathon is available on Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. It does not say that the game is part of Game Pass.

The Xbox Store listing offers the game for purchase and says access requires an Xbox Game Pass subscription sold separately. That wording does not establish that Marathon is included in the subscription catalog, and the listing as surfaced does not clarify what access requirement it refers to. Check the live listing and Game Pass catalog for current terms.
Can you play Marathon on Xbox?
Yes. Bungie lists Xbox Series X|S among the platforms where Marathon is available. The Xbox Store has a purchase listing, so Xbox availability should not be confused with Game Pass catalog membership.

Does buying Marathon on one platform give you access on another?
No. Bungie’s release announcement says cross-save requires a compatible copy of the game on each system you play. Cross-save does not mean one platform purchase supplies copies for other platforms.
