Wings of Heroes has no separate interceptor class in the current class guide reviewed here. Pocket Gamer’s guide for version 2.3.2, updated October 5, 2026, lists Light Fighter (LF), Fighter (F), Bomber (B), Attack Aircraft (A), and Multirole Fighter (MF). That is third-party terminology, not a complete official taxonomy; the current store listings mention fighters and bombers but do not publish a full class list. Don’t assume “interceptor” means Light Fighter or any other class.
What the five listed classes are like
The descriptions below summarize Pocket Gamer’s October 5, 2026 guide for version 2.3.2. They are qualitative descriptions, not official class statistics or a verified ranking of aircraft performance.
| Class | Guide description | What to weigh when choosing |
|---|---|---|
| Light Fighter (LF) | Lower speed and survivability than a Fighter, with the lowest turn time. | Whether its turning characteristics suit your approach, and whether you can manage lower survivability. |
| Fighter (F) | Low survivability, with high speed and “turn time.” | Whether speed and turning are priorities and you can avoid incoming damage. The guide’s wording does not clarify whether higher turn time means tighter or slower turning. |
| Bomber (B) | Highest survivability and slowest turning. | Whether durability and a bomber role matter more to you than maneuverability. |
| Attack Aircraft (A) | Fast, damaging, relatively lightly armored, and broadly balanced. | Whether a more balanced feel fits better than a specialized role. |
| Multirole Fighter (MF) | A combination of good speed, medium armor, and damage. | Whether you prefer a mix of speed, protection, and damage. |
Turn-related wording deserves care: the guide calls the Fighter’s turn time “high,” but does not define how that maps to maneuverability. Don’t read it as “tightest turn” without checking the stat definitions in the game. A numerical turn-time figure for one named aircraft would not establish a class-wide trait.
How to choose a class and plane
Use the class label as a first filter, then compare the specific aircraft. The guide itself cautions against a one-plane-fits-all answer and frames the choice around stats and preferred play style.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches- Decide what you value most. Consider speed, turning behavior, survivability or armor, damage, and the job you want the aircraft to do.
- Compare individual aircraft. A class summary is not a promise that every plane in that class performs alike. Check the aircraft’s own displayed stats and role.
- Account for progression. Tier and upgrades can affect the plane you actually fly, so compare aircraft at the state in which you plan to use them.
- Choose for your own approach. A preference for durability, maneuverability, or a mix of attributes is more useful than treating any class as universally best.
The reviewed sources do not provide a complete official class-wide comparison table or verified universal rankings. They also do not establish that any one class is best in a particular mode.
How game modes affect the choice
Google Play describes Wings of Heroes as a 5v5 game and lists Domination, Ace Mode Domination, Dogfight, and Annihilation. Its mode descriptions explain objectives, but do not show that a specific class performs best in any of them.

- Every Hot Wings plane comes with proprietary connectible runway that allows collectors to build their own runways
- Every Hot Wings plane comes with a collector card providing flight Specs for each plane
- Runways, intersections, turns, taxiways, hangars and control tower accessories allow collectors to build complete airports
- Seven distinct series, dating from the earliest Bi-Planes to the newest Space Planes, offers something for every Aviation enthusiast
- Domination: Capture and hold control points.
- Ace Mode Domination: Domination with auto-aim disabled and a higher XP ratio, according to the store description.
- Dogfight: Engage the opposing team and destroy a target number of planes.
- Annihilation: Destroy control points.
Use the objective and your preferred approach as context for choosing a plane, rather than treating a mode description as proof of class advantage.

The current Apple listing describes fighters and bombers, upgrades, online multiplayer, and regular additions of planes, maps, modes, and features. Its update language is a reason to check the live game for current roster details; it does not confirm the five-class list above. Google Play supplies the mode descriptions, while Pocket Gamer is the source for the five labels and qualitative class summaries.

Ten Square Games’ April 26, 2024 announcement described 5v5 real-time WWII aerial battles and gave the Spitfire and A-36 as examples, with players choosing fighters or bombers in the context of that announcement. It is dated background, not evidence of the current complete class taxonomy. The company’s CEO, Andrzej Ilczuk, said at the time: “The plane simulation segment in mobile gaming is ripe with opportunity. With no dominant title in the market, we see a significant chance for ‘Wings of Heroes’ to secure a substantial market share and establish a strong presence.” That is a 2024 company opinion about the market, not a gameplay or aircraft-performance statistic.
