After each guess, the tile colors show what to try next: green confirms the right letter in the right spot, yellow confirms a letter in the answer but in the wrong spot, and gray means the letter is not in the answer. Discord’s official Wordle FAQ describes the same six-guess format and says its licensed Discord Activity shares the daily puzzle and answer with the NYT Games website or app.
